How do you get away with doing absolutely nothing? I WFH and I have to at least do an hours work

I love you user.

my WFH is holding LOKI until the nuclear winter comes.

Why is this so comfy.

WFH has made me realise how much time I used to waste each day. 2 hrs total commuting each day, many hours of sitting around time wasting, talking etc.
I do around 2-3 hrs of real work each day, despite being a full time worker. Now I can just do it all at once, be done by noon and have the rest of the day off, this is amazing

Based and same. Realised most of my time was spent making small talk with office cucks and having boring lunch table discussions.

Now I have a lot of time to pursue my own hobbies and interests and make more money on the side.

Good, you can spend your day learning about Quant before you decide how many you need to buy.

right? my job is in finance nothing to do with coding, but with all this spare time i have taught html, javascript, CSS and am pretty deep into python

Why don't you just abbreviate the entire post? I think we'll get it, having seen it every day now for the past 7 or 8 months

Yes.
The problem though is that you can't stack 2 full-time jobs even though they only take 2-3 hours of work per day. If meetings overlap you get fucked in the ass.
I'm thinking starting a consultancy is the way.

AAD WFH DAN

Working in the office is not productive
I wish this was forever :(

why so angry, friendo

I await the day when AI permanently replaces all management positions.

bros, w-what are we gonna do once the managerfags start forcing everyone back to office after the chick flu?

Does anyone else have weekly meetings where no relevant information is shared and everyone has to talk about their week? Sometimes I wonder if it is just to give managers something to do since any time there is relevant info it could be summed up in a quick e-mail.

Yes.
>haha lets have a meeting to "catch up" with everybody haha
Fuck off.

>I wish this was forever :(

He doesn't know

ive now trunkated pretty much my entire job into 1000 lines of python, including email receipt and delivery of requests. few more things to do but its now pretty much 3kgbp a month passive income. gonna find more work from home jobs to replicate

>wishing to be an employee forever

most companies I know, mine included, have no desire to go back and rent offices when we have put WFH procedures in place and are running smoothly for 7 months.
Why pay extortionate office rents for no reason?

>NNNOOOOO NOW WITH WFH I HAVE TO ACTUALLY BE PRODUCTIVE AND CAN'T JUST TRY TO FIND A RICH CHAD TO MARRY OR AT LEAST SUE A CREEP FOR SEXUAL HARASSMENT

>tfw EE
>they were gonna make me drive to work all this time
>befriended young technician who just graduated with a BS and wants to get promoted to ME at the company
>I know personally that promotions aren’t happening this year because of covid
>he’s been doing my work for the past 4 months

Where fellow my mechanical engineer slaves at?
Trying to network with my software/IT friends and get the fuck out of this meme career. Anyone here have advice for getting entry level positions in finance or IT or software? I don’t have any work experience in those fields but I’m willing to take a temporary pay cut to get my foot in the door. I’m embarrassed when people think I make a lot cause im an engineer. I work in manufacturing and have a dog shit salary and it’s literally impossible for me to wfh

my job just officially announced permanent WFH BLESS

Did any of y'alls jobs subsidize your internet for WFH? All I got was "feel free to take anything from the office lul"

>entry level positions in finance or IT
why don't you try finding an ME job? you'll definitely be making more than an entry finance/IT

>1337 check
Blessed and may you never have to see another normie in the workplace again.
