as a follow up to this: there is a very big difference between having no assets and having assets but hiding them from the court, especially if this case revolves around you purposely defrauding creditors.

i'm not a lawyer so i don't know how exactly it would work, especially with regards to monero. but it wouldn't surprise me if some turbojew from the bank would legally compel you to prove out your transaction history, and i doubt 'i dunno lol,' or 'i lost it gambling with cash' would hold up.

the idea that bankrupt morons don't go to debtor prison is true. fraud is a very different story, however, especially when they think you're withholding the assets.
