My best friend (american) is schizophrenic. He used to be a high functionning schizo, working a prestigious job, famous in his field. now he's locked up somewhere, he's entirely gone. Last thing he told me that made sense was that they switched his prescriptions to new meds and used him as a labrat. I dismissed it as paranoid schizo talk. Then a year later a study came out about how they used schizos to illegaly test a new antipsychotic on them.
