I think they’ve got one more game in them. It’ll be interesting to see if they double down on the laziness from the last game as well as the forced Stronk woman, or if they try and go back to their core audience. Usually devs will go as far as to triple down on their as decisions though so I’m not expecting too much.

Haven't finished Judgement nor played 4 or 5.

Ruined by microsoft and tc. I actually enjoyed the Epic games. Nu-Gears is complete trash.

Gears 3 is a masterpiece
2 has good moments

Everything else has been disappointing, but 3's one of the best TPS made

Havent picked up 5 because I stopped playing gears a few years ago and the map variety looks poor and ive hear nothing but bad things about it

1, 2, 3 and Tactics are the only good games.

Tactics would have been a 10/10 masterpiece had it included a strategy layer. The core gameplay is excellent, but it's very shallow because there's no tactical thinking outside of missions.

Yep, gears 5 at the beginning was very bad but it is improving now

Wild fun weekend series with the boys and a blunt. First three all great, third being best, but considering second the best is totally reasonable depending how ass blasted you are by the retro lancer. Four was okay, solid multiplayer but TC's new weapons were all too strong. Campaign was frustratingly short. Five is hot garbage with somehow the least content of all, even less if you discount the banners and blood splatters and shit nobody even notices. All in all its a good time.
