Shaa

I think Armed and Delirious was the best Game Dungeon episode. Maybe Captain Zzap.
As for the best dungeon in gaming, I'm pretty sure the Zelda dungeons got you covered.

Carnevil and Eternam
Go to Hell is also good if only for the fucking story Ross tells about the soul contracts

I still have a hard time believing that happened, but then again, it *is* Ross

Realms of the Haunting

For me it's nyet 3.

I honestly liked his Deus Ex video and whatever game dungeon usually has him go into a tangent.

Baldies

your moms ass haha

Baldies
Trackmania
The Chosen
Dungeon Seige
The Crew
Strife
Polaris Snowcross
Deus Ex and Invisible War
The Black Mirror
Requital
Veil of Darkness
Messiah
I also liked the newest one, Daemonica

>Realms of the Haunting / The Black Mirror
Ross taking you on a comfy/spooky adventure with nice commentary

>The Chosen / Nyet 3 / Sonic
Lets you experience the amount of rage and frustration with Ross explaining in detail why certain mechanics don't work

>Deus Ex / Follow up 3 / Zany Golf
Ross ranting about the state of gaming and the world in general

the Veil of Darkness episode was immensely comfy, good taste

I wish he'd do more episodes on games like Sonic Heroes and less on boring PC RPGs/Doom clones.

It's his interests man, I'd rather he talk about something he's interested in than not.

commander keen thread?
Oh, nevermind....

damn, he's charming

Ross isn't for you, then. Why he did that video still perplexes me.

is it just me or have the latest game dungeons been really shitty
>goes into game blind
>has no idea what to do
>gets frustrated
>starts cheating
>still frustrated
>ragequits

Before this they were worse desu, right around he moved to Poland.

What are you talking about? His Clash playthrough took dedication. He drew a map on paper of areas he had to scout ahead so he'd know where to go just to not get wrekt but the unfair difficulty for instance. And that's just one of the many things he had to do in order to beat this piece of shit game.

Armed & Delirious
Nyet 3
Trackmania 2 Canyon
The Crew
Life is Strange
Deus Ex Series
Sonic Heroes

That's just cursory remembrance when looking over the videos in playlist, there's probably some better that I'm forgetting.

>*Clans, not Clash

Ross's autism works in mysterious ways. He's able to do the most inane and tedious things just to beat some random shovelware game but then complain that games like Dark Souls are repetitive because you have to git gud.

For the last few it feels like he's just brute forcing his way through games he doesn't like or understand while not having anything interesting to add like previous episodes.

Super cult tycoon. Totally fits his personality.

I still rewatch the Arcade America one. Not sure why its just chill to me.

HE CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT

the game was kinda crappy but the ending is fucking metal!

I have zero trouble believing it happened. Didn't he say he was in high school at the time? That totally seems like something a highschooler would come up with for a joke.

Joey is one of the most sympathetic protagonists of any game dungeon.

Loved the soul contracts story, because I’d tried something like it myself and it was reassurance that I wasn’t crazy.

Kind of. He's been choosing games that don't really have much to say. He's at his best when either the game has something interesting to talk about, Deus Ex, if a game is flawed and maybe unknown but has its qualities, Quarantine, or is a wild ride of what the fuck, Armed and Delirious. Games that are just ugly to look at, not fun to play and don't have an interesting story just end up with him describing a step by step and saying how frustrating it is.
The Sonic Heroes video isn't bad but again he mostly talks how janky the game is but everyone who's played a 3D Sonic game will tell you they're all pretty janky.

The best ones are games that let him launch into random tangents about other stuff. Watching him suffer through mediocre games that aren't really interesting to begin with is wearing thin.

I've only ever played the demo. And that actually makes it creepier for me because I only remember the eerie empty house and the sudden appearance of some red-eyed horrors. I think playing the rest would diminish the horror.

>Dungeon siege
Simply the best episode
>Veil of darkness
Super comfy

>Armed and Delirious

Deus Ex 1 was pretty good too, at least the best video I've seen about it, FAR more honest, modest and intelligent than other youtubers, not like it's a hard feat, though.

I grew up playing Arcade America. It's a weirdly frustrating game but Joey is a lovable idiot. His scream is forever stuck in my head.

That railshooter where he just went on an autistic rant about everything.

CarnEvil.
>It's the Freak Show, the Freak Show,
>See the strange and bizarre.
>Step right up, we'd love to see you,
>We think you could be the star!

I had a solid half month where I would put that episode on my phone as background noise while trying to sleep. For a while I could recite most of the fucking script in my head.

Railshooter? Don't remember that one.

Dungeon Siege is pretty good.

His autism is actually quite straightforward. Ross is not particularly smart (not to say he’s dumb, he’s just not super smart) and makes up for it through perseverance and brute force. He can’t be bothered to learn (get good, so to speak) but if he can get through something by grinding and thinks it worth the effort, he will.

Do you still have the contracts?

I used to do the same thing with the Nyet 3 and Deus Ex GDs. I still know some of the lines to those videos.

I love haunting Ross discussions because it’s always full of confirmations of other people doing what I do, this proving that I’m not crazy.
