The same day the Department of Justice also filed 11 complaints against two Salvadorans, six Hondurans, and three Guatemalans who they say are members of the caravan and entered the country illegally. The group of mostly Honduran men, women and children have spent the last month crossing Mexico on foot, by bus and on top of trains. All the while, President Donald Trump has derided their efforts on Twitter - saying they're taking advantage of the country's lax immigration laws and must be stopped. While the caravan started out with more than 1,000 members, the group that reached the border this weekend was much smaller - about 350. An even smaller amount are deciding to petition for asylum in the U.S. - about 200.

So out of the 1000 people in the original march it sounds like a handful have made it in - most by sneaking in illegally per usual, and a small number by applying for asylum per the actual rules. The vast majority of them gave up before getting anywhere near the border.

Salvador isn't very white compared to other surrounding countries. I have seen anons talk about their "lax" policies, so if you're a "business", it's easier to settle there and get citizenship without actually having a real company.
