This is a good list. I've seen several on here, including Restrepo. I disagree with calling Restrepo a "movie" however, as it's more so an actual documentary. These are not actors playing soldiers but the entire film is two hours of footage from their cameras cut and pieced together to show the absolute hell they went through for 15 months. This film is very, VERY real. There's actually a follow up to Restrepo called Korengal that involves the same crew. They're not Blair Witch tier where it's just "found footage" to make it seem scary. The reason Restrepo and Korengal's "action scenes" are so nail biting, is because you're watching an actual firefight that happened. I definitely agree with it being on this list and recommend watching it. Just know what you're getting into.
Another good choice to add to the list, would be Boyz In The Hood. The entire movie is fantastic but if anything, there's a scene where Lawrence Fishburn goes into the reason ghetto neighborhoods are the way they are and if you really pay attention, it all adds up to how shit is actually going down.
