Yeah, at this point I've been telling my american friends to get out of there. It doesn't even matter what country you go to now, getting out of the US is the higher priority right now.

Why? Canadians and Americans have it easy when you migrate.
If I want to go somewhere, first thing I'm asked is if I speak English. Speaking the local language is preferable, but failing that, a lot of countries will accept you as long as you speak English.
I was lucky enough to learn it growing up with videogames (The Sims might have thought me more "domestic" vocabulary than my English teachers).
As long as you find a job before coming, houses don't have crazy prices outside of major cities and you can live a very comfortable life here.
Heck, the biggest argument I've told Americans is to think of their kids. You can put a kid in University here for as low as 3000$, 5000$ for bigger schools.
I'm talking proper STEM degrees, with lab work and teachers that don't give a shit about SocJus shit. Steer clear of the Humanities Colleges, they're just as poozed here as there.
My country in particular (Portugal) is known to treat migrants rather well. As long as you work and don't boast about your home country like it's the best shit ever (French can fuck off, we don't want your crappy cheese). Even the clusterfuck that is Spain right now was a decent place for a guy I knew from school.
