Psychiatry nearly destroyed my life during my teenage years, all progress I made was on my own with the help of family and community. All the while kiked psycholgists tried to convince me that my father (also a national socialist) sexually abused me as a child with no evidence or testimony from myself, they replaced this one at my request only for a woman to spend 2 years trying to convince me I was homosexual to the point I attempted suicide and was nearly led towards the LGBT death cult. This all occured when I was a 12-16 year old who had a single, isolated episode of psychosis that never reoccured, I was denied my teenage years by these bastards and only became able to truly enjoy life after multiple years of not being in their care. Most mental illness are reactions to a sick, dysgenic society and instead of learning to live with the symptoms of a so called mental illness you are medicated into a shell of a human.

In a normal, healthy society when a patient comes in and says "I'm depressed" the expected reaction is to ask what personal circumstances have caused this condition. It could be the city life, lack of nature, lack of friends/family/social circle, etc. Instead it's assumed that the problem is a chemical imbalance in the brain to be fixed with pills. Same thing with anxiety, exposure until your anxiety goes away or is manageable is no longer the solution, an anti anxiety pill is.

I was institutionalized for depression and the doctors and nurses were cruel to me. For example, when I was being transferred to another part of the hospital, a staff member said "wow it's cold and dark down here and there's a lot of junk" and the other said "yeah this is where we bring things we dont want anymore." She was clearly referring to me and I could tell by the way she said it. And the doctor was wicked and seemed to feed off of my confusion and disorientation. I too swear an oath of eternal vengeance against them and my method of destroying them will be strengthening myself in spite of how they tried to ruin me.

I am in treatment right now with a passive aggressive (((anti-social))) doctor that sees her own role as a machine on an assembly line (her words). I am just some "thing" coming down the assembly line with a malfunction, and her role is to examine this object (me) and apply the correct pills. I tried to explain to her that taking pills depends on my life situation, then she just looked back at me silently with an empty expression.

And she doesn't really care if I am really ill or not, as she says, this is all about her and her job and I need to respect that and allow her to do it. Every negative experience in my life is a psychosis in her eyes, "because how do you know that you really heard that?", right… "Let's just try these pills as an experiment".

She has a patient with multiple personalities, that she has never observed. As she says "there are multiple people, but only one of them appears for consultations". When I didn't get it she got angry at me for not acknowledging that this person IS multiple people.

The sad things is that I am in the same boat as that guy, I just need to go along with this nonsense until I get declared permanently disabled.

I knew a girl once who was falsely inturned into an asylum because her "boyfriend" wanted to take the inheritance of her father and mother left her.

They beat her, drugged her into a stupor and left her in a cell for three days, and when she tried to run and leave the cops came, tazed her and took her back for another week of torture under drugging.

What I recommend you do if yer stuck in psych ward like I was Is get a relative to drop you off some cheap suitjackets and button up shirts and wear those constantly while being as mild mannered as possible. Just act like you accept it, if you rave against it they'll think your insane. Just be calm and wait to be classified level two so you can wear clothes and go on smoke breaks. Take up a smoking habit, and befriend the inmates and nurses and help with the difficult cases. Hang with them as much as possible, and then you'll get released. If yer a neet on neetbucks you'll continue to collect and have a nice nest egg when you get out.

This was dropped for functionalism, which looked more into HOW the mind functioned, and how it acts. Gestalt psychology was championed by Wertheimer, who looked into how individual aspects of actions acted as a whole.

Psychology also has various aspects of it, such as neuroscience, cognitive, behavioral, humanistic, and psychodynamic. Personally, for me, humanistic psychology is my favored branch since it seems to have retained free will, and the idea of spiritual healing. But I'm getting ahead of myself.

Sigmund Freud invented *psychoanalysis* which was a school of philosophy/psychology that dealt with the unconscious. These days, it's mostly been dropped by psychology. I mean seriously, who in their right mind would you let Jacques Lacan treat someone sick? Psychoanalysis has either been absorbed into the psychodynamic approach to psychology or is a school of philosophy for people like Zizek to talk about.

Really, psychology is a field that can vary in bias. Its had a dark history though, just look at the use of it by Edward Bernays and Anna Freud. The biggest worry I have about psychology is that it the field of "social neuroscience" is set to be the next frontier of it. I was homeless and suicidal last year. I didn't want to kill myself, but I didn't see any other way out. So, I called the psych ward and checked myself in.
They held me for 72 hours. During that time, I heard constant jokes from the staff referring to the patients as "crazies" and whatnot. This one gimpy-armed faggot nurse made a joke that one of the patients may be drowning themselves in the shower, and I lost my temper. I shoulder checked him when he was walking by me. He said "If you do that again, you're going down," and I said "By who, you? You gimpy cunt?" That was enough to get the attention of the other nurses. I said loudly, to a big, buff nigger nurse that was staring at me in surprise, "I didn't like that joke he made about patients drowning themselves in the shower." The gimpy cunt backed down, and said "Okay, now we're even," and that was the end of it. All the other mindless employees stared on in shock for a minute before returning to normal programming.
They kept making jokes like that, within hearing of the patients. I didn't speak up again, but holy shit did I want to burn that place down.
