I need the help of an user who lives in Vienna, Austria.
If you live in Vienna and you are interested in helping recover an extremely rare NatSoc book, I'm very interested in talking to you. Essentially, you will have to go to the university of Vienna library and request to read a specific book which can not be digitalised due to copyright law. The book in question is Das Fragen Nach Dem Lebens-Sinn: Grundzüge D. Philos. Erkennens. Once in the reading room, you will have to take pictures of the pages which should not be too hard as the book is short at about 40 pages. The author is also the Author of A Strange State, which is currently being translated and has its own thread here. (Background brief: significant figure of the volkisch movement, directly connect to our Uncle.)
Regarding specifics, I have discussed with the library and we are welcome to come in and read it in their reading room. They're totally cool with that. They have even given me all the correct information for getting there and requesting the book. And no, being a student is not a requirement. I have informed them already that I'm a researcher associated with another university.
What you will need is basically a phone with a decent camera and the willingness to sit down for 1/2 an hour to capture all the information. You will also need a pen and a pad to make it look like you are taking notes, so as to avoid arousing suspicion. But there is no actual crime for taking photos. However, it's best to make it not obvious. Of course, you will be well rewarded for your effort by me. I will even reward partially before hand so as to ensure you that I am not trying to get you to work for free.

Is the book in the public area you can just walk in and grab as you like, or do you have to ask the librarian to specifically bring it out? If it's the former, I may be willing to do this.

The former. The only other copy I know exists in a locked down archive of some right-wing watch organisation in Berlin but I can't recall their name off the top of my head. No bookstores stock it either; I've already called every major second hand and speciality bookstore in Germany. Our only option is the University of Vienna library. They've already sent me the initial pages and have confirmed that the author is v. Josch. Please contact me. I will provide you with everything you need, including the actual name of the organisation I'm affiliated with. You can use my name as a reference.

If you guys manage to snap pictures from your phone, remember to transcribe from the digitize photos onto another written format, not just so it's easier to read but so the libraries don't suspect phones are involved and end up making new regulations for the next people who take out the book. Also be aware if the library has records of when the book was last taken out. If it has been years before the last person it means they can trace it back to you as the possible culprit for digitizing the pages, making it difficult for yourself to release the book publicly without any repercussions. If numerous anons take out the same book, at sparse times, then it makes it harder to trace back the person.
Just take the extra precaution.

Not to distract but is there a list of out of print national socialist/fascist/traditionalist books and other publications? I'm fairly good with ocr software and wouldn't mind putting a few into limited print for other anons, free of charge.
OP here. A good place to start is buchfreund. Use natsoc related search terms. Plenty of works there, theory about the Aryans. None of it is translated. There's an ultra rare one called life and death in the Aryan world, a history book of sorts.
