After a visit from the Danish authorities Niels threatens to lose his license to keep cattle.

Niels makes all decisions in harmony with nature and with respect to animals. He calls his cows by name and he has a strong bond with all of them. The calendar he uses to sow and plant is based on the movements of stars and planets. This holistic method of working yields some of the best and most wanted produce in the world. The best restaurant in the world and and a lot of famous Danish chefs buy their vegetables and meat from Niels.
Still Niels must enter the battle with the standardized EU-restrictions.and inspections that occur a lot intended to watch the well being of the animals. The fines and law suits in which this results would mean the end of the farm. Niels and Rita don't have employees and are dependant of volunteers that sometimes visit from the whole of Europe. Without this help it seems impossible for the couple to keep the farm running. At the same time they are in a harsh battle with the authorities to ensure the continuation of the farm.
