Greetings from pol

Hello reds, I challenge you to change my ideology through literature alone. Therefore post the greatest literature in your arsenal, I promise you I will read through most suggestions I am genuinely curious. I would like to broaden my understanding of the other side and I figure literature would be best at least for me. Also this is to test the intellectual strength of not socialism/fascism for if I read through your suggestions and my opinion of them erode however slightly I will be forced through my moral character to give your ways a more serious look which may in term lead to my full conversion. So have at it

It's something you'll actually finish, understand and don't need a degree in classical economics.

Thank you all for the library, this week I will go through what I can

Do tell us what do you think when you're done

If you go read some Lenin, "State and Revolution" and "Imperialism: the highest stage of capitalism" are his main works and both are accessible to non brainlet non communists.

I shall

Looks like I’ll start with those then

IMPERIALISM: THE HIGHEST STAGE OF CAPITALISM

Agreeing with other posters on this, if you can't read any other text, you ==MUST== read this one.

Bolton and Pompeo are seeking war in Iran and Venezuela for a very specific purpose. The aim of the war is to obtain monopoly over Iran and Venezuela's oil reserves to have oil companies reap massive profits for the sake of "panem et circenses"ing of the American population. These profits are used to bribe union bosses, leveraging more US treasury debt and appeasing boomer warmongers, effectively crushing discontent through distraction. You see this in Syria right now. Rupert Murdoch is constantly agitating for war against Syria and for the Golan Heights because of Genie Energy. They use the profits from gayass warmongering to stifle public discourse and to perpetuate identity politics.

Here ya go

Read the Conquest of Bread by Kropotkin, easy and short book which contains many arguments for anarchocommunism. it also has critiques of other socialists but just read those too even if you dont know much about them, youll get to know their poins eventually if you keep reading avoyt socialism.

I also recommend the book the Ego and its Own by Max Stirner, it has meme status around here but its an useful and influential book which no leftist should miss on, it can change your view on subjectivity and how the self relates to abstract concepts. Its political system of egoism is just a meme thought experiment in a similar way in which anarcho capitalism is, but the core concepts laid by stirner are essential imo.

"but just read those too" i mean not their books, i meant just scan through the book when they are mentioned and dont worry about not knowing them right now

Kropotkin always seemed fishy to me. The thing with Stirner is any argument that's made can be used against it.

Dude, that's also you.

That's useless doesn't even explain commodity fetishism.

I mean it is not a "diet" version of Capital but more like a single crumb.

do you mean the liar paradox?

I prefer analysis that uses actual evidence instead of assuming motive and reasoning from that point on.

What profits? How did the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan reap a profit for U.S?

If by "the US" one means porky, nearly $6 trillion in plunder diverted into the military:

Like I said, they were a massive cost. If we were to apply your logic, maximizing public expenditure would be the aim of any state, there would be no investment that isn't worth it, an economy could run on fixing broken windows, breaking them again, repeat.

It can, it's all virtual.

The point of modern "war" isn't public or private expenditure, since the two are by definition mirror images of each other within the economy. The point of the MIC is to funnel money from one part of the private economy to another part, much like any other wealthfare scheme, it's basically embezzlement for the "defense" industry.

Let's not forget that Afghanistan supplied over 90% of the entire world's opium, and Taliban reduced opium production by 99%. Production was only restored after the invasion, with American troops guarding the poppy fields night and day.

Tax payers pay for war, private business benefits. That way cost is irrelevant.

tell me more….

I am really amazed you are actually willing to read.
