That's stupid. Fallout's player characters do not age, heal by eating, do not permanently lose limbs, heal unnaturally fast even broken limbs, can magically gain superhuman strength by doing a bunch of quests, can magically gain resistance to radiation by doing a bunch of quests, etc.
