Israeli’s Netanyahu announces “significant development” in Iran nuclear deal (WATCH LIVE)

rt.com/news/425534-netanyahu-israel-iran-deal/
bloomberg.com/live

...

How long ago did Iran announce they were moving away from using the dollar? The 18th of this month? They're really moving at a record pace. There should be a stake in Rouhani's ass by summer break.

I'm so tired. russia, syria, iran, palestine, please collab and raze that clown

So the Democrats are in danger because they're only CLOSE to 50% of the millennial vote, while the GOP are going to crush them with their astonishing 28%.

This is some sensationalist bullshit.

Attached: bwut.JPG (754x731 8.62 KB, 48.52K)

Notice how the proportion GOP aligned millennials actually grew? America (and possibly the rest of the developed world) is going to go full fascist before the end (that is, the end of its empire after it starts WW3.)

No, the real threat is that 26% would vote for a third party: rivalling the republican share.

I think the bigger takeaway is that there's a possibility the US can break from the 2 party system and/or we just go full reactionary/facist like said

Former George W. Bush ethics lawyer ditches GOP, to seek U.S. Senate in Minn. as Democrat

Republicans are starting to defect to the Democrats.

Attached: 08-1006003363_06PAINTER050118.JPG (640x427, 39.96K)

More like the dems are starting to become what the GOP was back during the early 2000s.

This. Every Republican that joins the dem is another inch towards a People's Party.

Why do Christcoms always have such bad takes? The dems would arguably be a right-wing party in Europe and they would certainly qualify as "social-fascist" party to put it in Stalinist terms.

The GOP is almost as liberal as the Dems in the real sense of the word, not the American sense and is ironically actually a more democratically-run party that is more accountable to its base because of its early history as abolitionist/farmer/labor party.

I don't doubt there's a rise in reactionary sentiment in the US and the rest of the developed world lately but when you let fake leftists and fake leftist parties rule the roost then its unsurprising that people turn right-wing.

Considering the recent news that seems to be positive for the Republicans and negative for the Democrats, why the hell are Republicans acting so damn cowardly?

It didn't grow that much. That means there's still a bulk of left leaning voters.

GOP is Trump's party now. Get used to it.

What news? If you're talking about North Korea, that's not going to sway shit.

Have you not seen that poll? Even Millenials are starting to turn to the right and Democrats are losing ground fast. There is absolutely no reason for the Republicans to act so damn cowardly.

It isn't though, so many left the dems and they rose by 2%. None of the above is almost the same as the GOP: a third party is incoming.

They're split between the Trumpist faction that wants to make the GOP a bourgeois-nativist labor party and those who want the party to be nothing but an internationalist big business with Christian trappings.

Big capital no longer supports the Republican party that stopped when economic power was shifted from the Wall-Street-Oil Complex in favor of Silicon Valley. Obama was Silicon Valley's first president; they practically ran his administration.

Many of the Republicans are just going where the money is plus they've been hammering home free-trade so long that they all started to believe it and now Trump has made the Democrats the de facto party of Free Trade.

Trump is just a hillariously incompetent liberal nationalist when its all said and done tho

Kid, that extra 26% aren't in the GOP's pocket. Those are swing voters. Likely moderates or Bernie progressives. This means the Republicans need to walk on eggshells to keep those voters from overwhelming them at the polls.

If the dems are social-fascists then the GOP is most definitely actually fascist though. Not sure what you are getting mad about when you are basically agreeing with me.

Third parties can't really exist in America, especially on the national level. Even the libertarian party, which is backed by billionaires and petite bourg filth, can't break double digits nationally.

Trump has given the Democrats almost all of the GOP's old selling points: fiscal responsibility, law and order, strong governance, etc. The only thing he didn't give them was the racism, which is why it's going to be the Republicans' chief sales pitch come Midterms.

That's why you start local, remember the only reason the SPA filed is becuse it was actively purged by the US gov. Bottom up approach works, it did for the lib dems. Build it and they shall come, and considering the low levels of US turnout people are crying out for an alternative.
Also interesting fact, the Democrat Cops of America has 1/3rd of the members the SPA had at its height.

Yeah, I guess I am agreeing for the most part. I guess I see the GOP as more of a typical conservative party like the Christian Democrats in many Europeans countries. Maybe it shares spaces with fash and cooperates with fash on certain issues but it isn't actually fash itself if that makes sense. The democrats certainly have their own share of fash in the closet like Obama's fascist Jakarta police chief step-father for instance. If both parties have fascist elements is their really a choice between them? Are they really fascist? The bourgeois nature of both parties might be more explanatory then using "fascism" as a mode of analysis.

Honestly, I feel like Bush was more of a fascist than Trump and I'd probably even say the same thing about Obama. Maybe this is a pedestrian opinion at this point but I think that whoever comes after Trump is probably what we should really worry about.

The only problem is none of those things actually sell anymore–especially, the first one. Will it really help the Democrats to pick them up?

They're gonna do it. The Democrats will bungle a wave election. They are that bad.

Attached: 31da165a96394a65ac5bc3a13238a39cb33f6936f69c29bb8a61ac321d44d278.png (550x550, 144.28K)

Honestly if you are far left the best strategy would be to put continuous pressure on the neoliberal wing through endless failures.
Keep doing it and doing it till the failures pile up like a mountain then push them against a wall and purge the fuckers.

The perception of the Dems being the "strong and stable" party would be a huge benefit in this age of Trump chaos.

the democrats are basically cold war 80's Reagan republicans at this point. Its even funnier because their hatred for Russia.

The republicans are proto fascist nationalists.

So i expect 40 years from now the democrats will be proto fascists and the republicans will be like some obscure ultra right ideology you never even heard of, like they are some sort of aristocratic evolaian wizard sect now

The republicans are doing good because of the trump tax cuts. You underestimate how much some people dont want to fucking pay taxes.

The democrats have basically nothing to offer since they lost besides screeching about russia and more of the same.

The US congress is a social club for the imperial accounts managers. They put on a good show of fighting over policies and occasionally throw some scraps to the masses but their only real job is to provide a veneer of democratic legitimacy to the functions of empire and cut checks for unlimited military spending.

I think this has already happened. The GOP is a hollowed out shell that lazily passes money to special interests, while the Democrats have become barking nationalists seemingly overnight. Pretty disturbing to watch.

Get the fuck out, Zig Forums.

Is that why they're turning against it?

By a pretty tiny amount overall. Millennials are disenchanted with the Democrats, but that doesn't mean they're flocking to the Republicans. It means the two party system is falling apart.

The Democrats have already lost without bungling. They don't have a message worth a damn, and even if they did, there are enough of the voting population that are indoctrinated with ideology. The New Deal stopped being an effective campaign platform decades ago, the only thing keeping its policies alive is because of the severe dislocation that would occur if welfare monies weren't circulating through the economy. The last hurrah was Bush II pissing off every old and disabled person in the country with his privatization efforts, and despite that the Democrats under Obama were ready to bargain anyway. The recession has empowered the hardliner Randians and sufficiently immiserated the people such that the plan won't fail the next time our glorious leaders want to privatize.

Not only are the Dumbocrats unwilling to present realistic reforms for the people, they are simply unable to do so within the context of capitalism's current incarnation. The best socdems can offer are more cash grab programs, and that only works for so long. I don't blame people for grabbing the cash, if it's there you take, but I don't think people being forced to declare themselves total invalids is an acceptable solution to poverty, and that is where we are at today.

That all said, I have yet to see anything to suggest the mood has changed since 2016. Republicans won most of the special elections despite poor turnout of their base, there hasn't been a major crisis yet, and Trump probably got orders to just not fuck anything up and stay the course Obama set. In the end conservatives will vote for muh taxes and muh small gubermand, and the Democratic Party base is literally old incompetents who don't know what's what. Sense left the Democrats a long time ago, and the Clintons purged the party of what political talent it once had.

To be perfectly honest "we're not the republicans" seems to be a perfectly good message.

I fucking wish it wasn't though.

They do have a message: the "march for our lives" shit that is incredibly popular in left/liberal circles on most social media. It's even represented by a trendy brown millennial who is from Puerto Rico. That's clearly what they are running their 2018 campaign on and it'll fail largely because the "march for our lives" is largely unknown outside of left/liberal circles where it's basically poison for any Democrat who becomes associated with gun control (this is a particularly large problem for Senators Hietkamp and Manchin).

I agree with this but will point out a practical example: a few weeks ago Trump's Amtrak CEO more or less said he wants to kill all of Amtrak's long-distance routes, a thing which will fuck over Republicans in rural states. Instead of jumping on this and forcing him to come into Congress to explain himself Democrats are more or less accepting of it because they want more transit money for their urban cities. This has created a situation where Republicans within individual states themselves are the only ones questioning Trump.

Which brings up the Clinton era: Bill Clinton first started this by ending most of Amtrak's services as part of a 1993 budget deal or handing them over to individual states. Urban states weren't affected much since they had the money to deal with it, but it utterly fucked over rural states that didn't. Now there aren't any Democrats left supportive of Amtrak, a thing that does win elections in hardcore rural areas. It's bizarre and demonstrates their sheer incompetence.

MsPaint?

The "march for our lives" is not a genuine message, it is astroturf for a pro-totalitarian policy. The base isn't clamoring for gun control or watchlists of the mentally ill. They might not agree with muh second amendment rights and all that jazz, but they're not particularly fanatical about gun control and they are probably aware it's not a hill they want to die on. If base voters are interested in curbing violence, they're more worried about inner city gang violence with handguns, drive-by shootings, and the day-to-day brutality they see in the school system. The message of the "march for our lives" people is some booj whining because some incel turd had the nerve to shoot successful, photogenic children, and that we need to think of the other photogenic children (which many poor dumbfucks mistakenly think their children are, or at least they have to pretend that their children are equal to the kids who get to go to AP classes). It is obvious the successful pretties aren't interested in real answers to systemic problems, but want to exercise how much bigga and tuffa they are then the weaklings of the world, and in the end they will reach a compromise that they only need to further victimize the sped kids, probably by kicking sped kids out of school entirely and glorifying their ejection from society altogether. That's the message the Democrats have, which isn't particularly different from the Republican message.

As for the base of the Democrats themselves - the people who are trained by habit to pull a lever for anything with a D next to the name - they often have no fucking idea what is going on, and hold on to this antiquated notion of world politics from the Cold War. That's why the RussiaRussiaRussia shit from Democrats - it's insanity to us, but it works on my grandma and it was working on my mother before she died, at least enough to keep people from thinking about just how badly the Democrats were selling them down the river. There is a shit ton of racism in the Dem base, which is something the Clintons have been able to harness in their own special way (while cynically taking advantage of the blacks who have nowhere else to go).

Not only that, but look at how everyone collectively shit on sped students after each and every shooting. Teachers are now being trained to suspect the borderline cases to be future killers, which will probably become a self fulfilling prophecy (this is exactly why segregation is banned, because forcing nonwhites into substandard accommodations is a self fulling prophecy that impacts their ability to be productive citizens).

You mention them kicking out sped students entirely, I fully see that happening. They'll brand it as a new age tech thing and put them directly into adult schools where they could do computer courses instead of having actual teachers, which will only make their problems worse because sped students need normal social interaction more than regular students as part of their medical treatment. This works flawlessly with the bipartisan plan to privatize K12 education into charter schools and voucher programs.

no, they swithed on the 18th. It's been planned since early 2017. It'd still be faster than Iraw though, that took them over 2 years.

Yup. It's not something in the future though, it's something that has been in progress. The schools never wanted to integrate. They still haven't really got over the admission of blacks into the school system. The way it usually works is that the problem child/family is needled until they give up, and presented with impossible situations one after another. Nor is it merely enough to deny an education - the problem children and families are rooted out, so that there is no chance that unwanted persons intrude on the wanted, not just in the school system but in all social spheres. But I'm straying from the point of why the Democrats are shit (although Clintonism is quite peculiar and insane about credentialism, even beyond most Democrats; even Obama had enough sense to maintain decorum, whereas Hillary went out of her way repeatedly to shit on the non-pretties).

The youngest voters are least likely to vote, and as a (formerly) generally Democrat voting block it hurts Dems more than it helps Repubs

It's like the Democrats have already imploded in 2016 and they're running on autopilot, sustained only by myopic partisan cheer leading they've redirected into Russiagate and Trump bashing.
The two party system is entrenched but its not like the parties themselves are immortal, they've died before and will die again.

The Dems imploded after Carter. Bill Clinton only won because of Perot and because Bush I did the unthinkable and raised taxes. Obama won the easiest layup since FDR's bajillion re-elections, after Bush II tried to fuck with old peoples' social security and everything went to shit in '08. Clintonism is just the symptom of a decrepit party. The Rethugs, too, have purged their party of talent, such that they have nothing but non-entities for the Bushes to beat. (But, Bush v. Clinton would have probably sparked a revolution right then and there, so they had to elevate Trumpism and placate fashy feefees.)

I wouldn't be surprised if democracy is suspended within 20 years, and even the pretense of elections is dropped.

how many times do these dumb fucks keep falling for the same trap?

Attached: 1bf0c7e32d7752f58728773e410534c80fc246ef4135e05ed24e97dd61665e78.jpg (586x580, 126.82K)

Who?

Because anyone who criticizes Netanyahu is immediately smeared as an anti-semite. Even Natalie Portman, and she's fucking Jewish!

I think thats a good point about obama and clinton. However the right or whoever felt about obama at least on the surface he at least pretended to care about the whole of america and not just the coastal garbage people.

Clinton went all in with openly calling white middle americans irredeemable trash and "Deplorable"

Maybe this is why the same people who voted for obama also voted for trump.

actually the GOP bench is pretty stacked with faces. Marco rubio, ted cruz, nickki haly, rand paul, paul ryan, huckabee, etc

They learned their lesson after losing to obama, did an autopsy, and quietly took over local political offices while democrats thought they would be president forever. After obama forced healthcare to pass the tea party voted in the red wave and basically cucked obama for 6 years straight to the the point he could only get things done through executive order (which trump is now currently dismantling)

The democrats didnt expect trump to win, they lost every major office in the land, they are on the verge of bankruptcy or are dead broke money wise, they are incapable of making inroads in middle america, they have the bernie gang and social justice tards nipping at their heels just waiting for the neolibs to fuck up even more.

Who do they have to run?
Coery booker?
Corey booker makes barack obama look like malcom x

this is going to sound pol 'ish but lib and democratic racism is a real thing.

But its different. Libs are racist like "i want to hang out in my all white gentrified neighborhood starbucks with all my other white lib friends and talk about how great diversity is" but then a black guy walks into the starbucks and someone calls the cops.

Libs have the white lib burden, they think of non whites and especially black americans as children they have to protect.

A thing i always found funny being from the south is that the majority of the black american population resides in the south while the north is filled with white libs who have probably only seen a black guy on tv

Fellow southerner here.

I have a similar experience. Most southerners, even if they are racist, tend to be terrified of being outed as a racist because of the past we've had to deal with and the stigma against white southerners as inbred racist rednecks but yankees, may god eradicate every last one of them, are pretty open about how they don't like blacks and Hispanics with relatively no shame and still don't see themselves as racist.

This is a bad reading on things. Southerners are generally more polite when out in about in mass society.

Its more of a "you stay on your side i stay on my side and nothing bad happens" type of racism.

Rubio is a pretty but empty face, Cruz is a booger barely tolerated by his own party (but loved by dominionists), Haley is another pretty but empty face, Paul is a lolbert, Ryan is retiring. Even if they were talented enough politicians, all of them represent the same old Gingrich policies that weren't very popular in the '90s. They're more interested in the concerns of the rich and UMC than what their base wants. The whole lot of them were beat by Trump, which should tell everything we need to know about GOP talent.

The Republicans do have a better sense of how to win elections, yes, but the winners are still empty suits. With Democrats being such a godawful party, it's like taking candy from a baby. The trend in American history has been one party ruling for a very long stretch, and we're in the middle of the Republican stretch since Reagan's rise. The so-called "Blue wave" was an aberration because of, as I said, Bush II trying to fuck with old peoples' social security. As soon as Obama made it clear he would also fuck with your social security, and pass some horseshit to force you to buy health care, people turned right back to Republicans. Romney was a nonentity who never stood a chance, the money was behind Obama as their figurehead of choice.

thx n.user

I'm not talking about elitist lib racism - though that's pretty much universal among white Democrat leadership and the ruling class. I'm talking about rank and file Democrats who nodded in agreement about Trump's immigration policy, who dislike the alliance with blacks and complain about coloreds taking their jobs, their schools, their welfare benefits, etc.

The Clintons' racism, that peculiar off-kilter tokenism and expectation that blacks owe them deference, is something beyond ordinary lib racism. I've heard that in private the Clintons are virulent racists that would make Trump blush, which would explain a lot.

nah

No kidding. It's like everyone forgot the campaign Clinton ran in the primary for the 08 election.

Attached: obama-muslim.jpeg (632x560, 43.47K)

This. Ive been in Mississippi towns where white people I saw be perfectly civil with blacks a moment before then went on to tell me exactly what establishments to avoid because they were full of blacks. Pretty disgusting two-facedness tbh.

Overall tho the old saying is very true. That being black in the south you can get as close as you want but not big and in the north you can get as big as you want just not too close.

Explain? I was like 12 during that election I dont remember

They leaked the above picture from Obama doing some ancestry bullshit thing. It looked muslim, they were trying to Otherize Barack HUSSEIN Obama. There was a lot more shit I've already forgotten, but one of the talking points was that Obama would not be able to appeal to suburban whites, real middle America (read: racists), so they should stick with Hillary, who could.
