Is communism the "end of history" the same way Fukuyama presented capitalism? Is communism the end point of mankind's ideological evolution?

probably not because people would then fight over who's the most pure communist or which communist system is the best

that said there is some ancient russian sci-fi book about communism in space that had a good picture of such a society, I can't remember the name though

No.
It is the next stage until some kind of technological thing happens that we cannot imagine that creates contradictions and neccecitates a different mode of production.
Probably. I cant see the future.

The dialectic doesn't stop just because we "reach" communism. Communism's internal contradictions would eventually lead to a new stage of historical development, but it's honestly impossible to know exactly how, why and when.

We'll get ecological collapse before communism. Techno barbarians vs cyber socialists.

Who will the workers exploit after communism?

"internal contradictions" such as? regardless of how much our technology evolves, I don't think there would be anything after communism other than regression.

Marx said that that the day when will achive communism will mark the end of mankind's prehistory.

Like he said, we will find out when we get there. Claims of a true end of history are one of Marx's less relevant claims.

The history of all hitherho history, is the history of class struggle.
The marxist conception of history ends with communism. From simplicity to a higher simplicity through the alienation of historical progress.

It doesn't "end" with communism — you'd need to be as drunk with hubris as Fukayama to believe that sort of thing.

Then what next? Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne's reason of Musubi?

Communism is the riddle of history solved. With class struggle over changes in the mode of production will cease at least for a bit. Communism will grant us a rather unique experience of being directly in control of the course of our history as ultimate control of society will be cumulatively held by society.
We'll still have things to disagree about and material conditions will still impact how our society is organised. Ecological crises and the like will necessitate various measures and it'll be up to us how we decide and what we decide to do about it, perhaps we'll need strict rationing to be implemented, or strict work schedules to meet the needs of economic plans to secure our future. Beyond material conditions forcing us to adapt the organisation of our society, this same principle will apply to all of our life in communism as we take the reins of history in general. I could imagine the sort of divisions between 'collectivists' who would want to engage all of humanity's labour towards grand projects like say space exploration and 'individualists' who have no desire to work towards great achievements and merely wish to continue their own lives and that of their communities.
This sort of conflict of 'interests' is nowhere near as serious and defining as that of class struggle but however it were to be mediated in communism it and others like it may impact the progression and organisation of society in communism.

Communism is the end of history as we can understand it (i.e. as a struggle between the economic classes.) It is not literally the end of existence or anything. Fulfilling all human potential will finally be the driving force behind all decisions and there will no longer be any want for anything. It is basically a material version of heaven.

Great trot post
holy fuck it might literally have been the first I've ever seem.

Communism isn't the end of history.

Capitalism is just at the end of the beginning of the first chapter.

We have tens of millions of years of history more to write.

Oh so the universe wont collapse when we reach communism? Thanks buddy, I was scared for a second.

Progress and life itself is dialectic: the struggle and unity of the opposites. Communism may only become the end of history if humanity as a whole becomes static. I'm with Mao Zedong on this one.

I dunno, maybe sentient robots or some other shit.

The idea of their being an end to human progress, development of civilization, or such is idiotic to begin with. If the question is whether there something that can revolutionize future Marxist societies? We don't have the capability of seeing past that because of living under capitalism. That's a question for then. Our mindset and framework can't account for it now.

It depends. 2's chaos was more humane than IV's chaos, which was social darwinism turned into le the strongest becomes the king therefore we have no ideology. Meanwhile, IV's end Law was pre industrial sociaism, and I have no idea what II's Law would have looked like. Alex Jones is an opportunist piece of shit. He's more like a Mastema.
