To me it's evident that the capture of the state/political hegemony is not a valid goal. In postmodern times there are no political hegemonies, it's just changing management of the capitalist economy which is still conquering new domains of human activity to exploit, and we all know how everyone hates the political representatives. What is the Marxist alternative to the current capitalism, not Fordist or pre-Fordist capitalism? We should instead try to survive the collapse of commodity civilization and that means forming human relationships that are not based on commodities. You can call it idealistic, I call it pragmatic. You can call it reactionary, I would hearken to the full meaning of the word 'revolution'. I am also talking about a conception of the commune elaborated by the Invisible Committee
