Communism is known for sending people to gulags for utilizing free speech, and I have dealt with leftypol users directly genuinely arguing in favor of this practice before. While you are ethical in what you have stated, this board clads itself in Communist values, meaning if anything Reddit would support free speech more than Zig Forums would.
You're right, they're not. that's why crypto- and implicit fascist views are tolerated. The only time when fascists are cracked down upon is when their populism veers a little too close to exposing the class conflict. That's when they get shut down. lot's of EU countries (if not most or all of them) have "anti-totalitarian" speech laws which says something like "socialist states were literally nazi germany" and speaking favourably or presenting state symbols in public is prohibited. You can get same troubles for having swastika on shirt as hammer and sickle.

I see what you mean but some countries are more tolerant than others, I know for example in France you can wear hammer and sickle without legal problem, same for political parties like Lutte Ouvrière for example who wears it as logo, even the PCF was legal when it was still ML during Cold War. I know it's not a real tolerance but it's not a zero tolerance at least.
Also with internet free speech we can at least use cyber places like Zig Forums, we don't have to hide on an illegal obscure chan in the darknet.
