Si, la izquierda (sin contar a la centro-izquierda que representa el kirchnerismo) es casi totalmente trotskista. No sé las razones históricas de por qué el trotskismo y no otro movimiento.

Los partidos no trotskistas que se me ocurren serían:
El PCR (Partido Comunista Revolucionario): maoista
El PCA (Partido Comunista): marxista-leninista, está afiliada con la tercera internacional, apoya al kirchnerismo
El PS (Partido Socialista): socialismo democrático, en el sentido europeo

Esta debe ser una de las navidades mas pobres de los ultimos años

I suppose that's true yeah, but tbh this was probably the first and last chance Croatia had of winning the WC. We may not remember now, but there have been multiple teams that in the past had a really short streak of amazing football and came super close to winning (Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Sweden, to name a few) but nowadays no one really thinks of these countries as football countries. Obviously I'm still hopeful that someday a miracle may happen and my nation wins the WC.

Not to revive the flame-throwing but can someone give me a tl;dr on the Falklands conflict, what was it all about and which side should've won? At first it seems like a case of British imperialism. But wasn't Argentina also under a pro-western and right-wing military dictatorship at the time? Someone pls explain.

In 1980 British prime minister Margaret Thatcher massively cut military spending, at the same time the anticommunist american backed Argentinian junta was facing dissent issues. The junta saw a chance to invade the islands to boost internal support, and so in 1982 they landed 600 troops on the island and quickly took it against the massively outnumbered british garrison. Thatcher turned around and said she would immidiately dispatch a flotilla to retake them (against american requests to leave the whole thing be). Once the biritish solfiers landed a month later they Argentinian occupiers stood no chance and in 2 weeks it was back under british control. This resulted in the agrentinian junta crumbling and Thatcher undoing her massive domestic unpopularity, going on to win the last postwar majority up until that point in the 1983 election.
No the arguement over British ownership of the islands being imperialistic is pretty ricketty: purely because A) there were no natives there before B) they had no long term de facto control until the British settlement C) all other claims to the islands also derive from colonialism. Argentina claims that since Spain de jure owned them and they acquired the Spainish territories down there that they are theirs, britain's claim is that "lol we got here first". Now in 2013 the island actually had a referendum between continued status as a British overseas territory and joint Anglo Argentinian sovereignty: continued status as a part of Britain won by 99% with 3 total votes against. Honestlynifna referendum had been held in 1982 before and without the threat of any invasion I would say the result would be the same. So make your choice from that info, but while the ownership is a result of British colonialism (as is Argentina's claim), it's continued status as being a part of the UK is not imperialist imo. I imagine someone is gonna quote Trotsky at me now tho.
Still, fuck Thatcher and fuck the argies for giving her an eternal mandate to fuck this country.

Si bien nos estamos alejando de la derecha autoritaria no necesariamente vamos para la izquierda, el progresismo solo se ve a escala social y cultural, en el aspecto económico cada vez vamos más para la derecha. Con otro mandato del gato lo único a lo que vamos a llegar es un neoliberalismo del tercer mundo mezclado con toneladas de idpol.
La única esperanza es que el aceleracionismo funcione y la gente termine explotando cuando estos préstamos del FMI muestren su verdadera naturaleza. Pero la verdad no creo, el Argentino promedio no tiene orgullo para defender sus derechos, está acostumbrado a que lo pisoteen, por eso después sale como pelotudo a buscar orgullo en cosas sin importancia como el fútbol.
