SAN BRUNO Cal. - A woman shot multiple people Tuesday at YouTube's headquarters in San Bruno, according to police.
Sources tell KRON4 that a woman shot and killed her boyfriend.
The shooter is believed to be dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, San Bruno Police Chief Ed Barberini confirmed during a press conference at 2:30 p.m.
There are at least four victims being treated at hospitals in the Bay Area.
When officers arrived, they encountered numerous employees fleeing from the building.
Police Cheif Barberini called it a "very chaotic scene."
One of the victims was found towards the front of the business as police arrived.
Several minutes later, while conducting a search of the premises, officers found a woman with what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Additional victims were found at an adjacent business.
San Francisco General hospital say they are treating three gunshot victims, two women and a man.
One of the women is 32 years old and is seriously injured, according to police.
The other woman is 27 years old and is in fair condition.
The man is 36 years old and is in critical condition.
A YouTube employee tells CNN she saw one person shot on the patio where they eat.
A witness told KRON4's Gabe Slate that they heard 20 shots fired.
He also heard that a woman was shot and crawled into the Carl's Jr. next to YouTube.
San Bruno Police tweeted at 1 p.m. to avoid the area due to police activity.
The headquarters is located at 901 Cherry Avenue.
Employees were seen walking out of the building with their hands up.
Google, which owns the online video website, posted on Twitter that the company is coordinating with authorities.
President Trump has tweets about the shooting.
