The teenager who allegedly used a shotgun and a revolver to kill 10 people and wound 10 others at a Texas high school Friday admitted he didn't shoot people he liked and meant to kill the ones he did target, a probable cause affidavit says.
The alleged shooter used a shotgun and a .38 revolver that were legally owned by his father, Gov. Greg Abbott told reporters. Two school resource officers were on the campus and confronted the shooter "early on in the process," Abbott said.
Suspect Dimitrios Pagourtzis, 17, has cooperated with police, said Galveston County Magistrate Mark Henry said. Henry denied bail for the student, who is accused of capital murder of multiple people and aggravated assault on a public servant. Students at Santa Fe High School, not far from Houston in southeastern Texas, scrambled for safety after they heard shots just after class began Friday morning. Nine students and one teacher were killed, a law enforcement official told CNN. Pagourtzis said little during a video court appearance, answering "Yes, sir" when asked whether he wanted a court-appointed attorney. He was not asked to enter a plea.
The probable cause affidavit says he told an investigator he spared people he liked because he wanted his story told.
This is obviously a lie. Schools are no gun zones and we all know people planning on killing people follow the laws.

school and college are driving students to such dark and painful places that they actually go completely mad. >every day the students are exposed to these living nightmares full of countless terrors and then forced to think "all of these students, all of these teachers and school employees, all of these bullies, ALL OF THESE TERRORISTS are the people who will decide my future. If I can't succeed according to their parameters I will fail to get the magical peice of paper of approval. The hate isn't only one way and there isn't only one type of hate. no matter what anyone says, there is hate going in every direction and there is no way to fix this just by reassuring everyone that it's not really happening and telling people it's actually a happy place because it isn't. school and college is hell and the expectations and standards are extremely high considering and compared to the quality of the environment where the students are educated, the quality of the students that surround them, and the quality of the education they receive, not to excuse the quality of the education system itself and the quality of the people who work for said institution.
