Everybody is abandoning Zig Forums for some strange reason. What used to be a bustling hub of activity now resembles a cyber ghost town. These days, it's common to see threads with as few as 4 or 5 posts, and they remain that way until they get deleted or pruned by an overly controlling board operator. We interviewed the anonymous Board Operator by phone from his secluded, lonely room Wednesday and asked him about the recent downward spiral.
"I don't understand it," he responded. "I've tried increasing the numbers of guests using the board by exerting excessive undue control, bumplocking anything I don't like, deleting posts, and pruning entire threads. Just the other day, I bumplocking 14 threads within 4 minutes, just to show people who's in control."
Complaints have been rolling in about the board for months, with most people stating that the entire concept is flawed, and it doesn't encourage users to feel good about contributing, and that it's simply 'not fun'.
"Any story that doesn't meet the political and moral beliefs of the board operator get targeted by him," said a source who wishes to remain anonymous. "If I wanted to read stories from The Goldwater, I could simply go to their website."
Rumors abound that Zig Forums will soon shut down, after being abandoned by it's creator. The classic childish technique of 'ill take my ball and go home' is a completely predictable reaction by a self-entitled, sheltered little mommy's boy like BO.
The anonymous source says, "I don't think the board operator realizes that taking his ball and going home means nothing, because we've already abandoned his sinking ship. I don't think anyone will even notice."
