an even more blatant example is how the individual person of Ajit Pai is the face of net neutrality abolition, basically a constructed strawman of a hate figure, a scapegoat. This obscures the actual motivations and driving forces behind the issue for liberals, and thus the companies the whole abolition is provided for get far less of a PR hit.

Drumpffffft is the best thing (for us) to ever happen to the American empire because he's too dumb to know what he's supposed to do as President. He keeps doing "common sense" things like suggest single payer or try to make friends with America's enemies. Then you have "lefty" policy wonks yelling constantly on TV telling him what game he's supposed to be playing and not realizing that they're tipping their hand. Normal people are hearing out-of-touch coastal elites supporting obviously awful policy a lot more than they would if HRC was doing things all according to plan and none of the empire building shit was bubbling to the top.
