Eugenics never stopped, it just changed its marketing jingle because the vast majority of people, understandably, don't like being reduced to a state worse than open chattel slavery. Eugenics only works if you take it for granted that the underclass must be controlled and either eliminated or reduced to slavery, and that further there MUST be an underclass to exploit because the eugenically fit inevitably view themselves as above menial work, yet need to exploit labor not only to support industry but as self-justification (muh robots don't get around the latter, in the future the underclass will just be used as sex slaves or slaves whose entire life is to be tortured for the amusement of the eugenists). I am skeptical the promises will be met with actual results, though. Autism Level scores don't mean much past the above-average range except demonstrating one's aptitude at taking Autism Level tests - the Autism Level test was designed to test for mental retardation in various capacities, not exceptional ability. There's a reason why Autism Level is measured against the baseline of the population and not against some fixed standard of functioning ability, as well. If we're talking about some other measurement of general intelligence then that's another thing, but Autism Level tests are fairly piss-poor and most of the proof for Autism Level testing's validity come from confirmation bias - essentially, children with high Autism Level are selected for advanced placement which results in more advantages, while average IQs are intended to be used as cannon fodder for wars and as soldiers and cops and more or less ignored. It only has considerably validity concerning below average scorers, and even then the role of low scorers - to be targets of humiliation and degradation so that the general population has an example to hate - precludes any possibility that these people will ever be anything or do anything with what functionality they have. Again, if we were measuring general intelligence against some fixed standard and the test could be administered without bias (and without the ability to train to the test, which is why I scored high when I took the damn thing), then something more meaningful could be constructed, but claims of increasing Autism Level by 50-70 points above the median are bullshit spouted by people who don't know about general intelligence. I don't even think the expert psychologists have a firm handle on intelligence, humans themselves being mentally fragile sacks of shit.
