Hi everyone. I've never really used chans before, apart from Zig Forums here. Never really ventured on to other boards cause of rampant pornography and just overall not liking the community. I used to use reddit (still occasionally check it out) but can't stand the userbase and the upvote/downvote system as well. Does anyone have any recommendations of other good places to check out? Doesn't necessarily have to be related to Christianity, but at least something wholesome, edifying, chill, useful, educational, etc.
/pdf/ is good for books. Zig Forums is sometimes fine for a good laugh. Other boards are infested with porn/nudity. But tbh I like Zig Forums the most anyway.

If you can avoid the porn, /monster/ is a good board as the majority of the anons encourage monogamous relationships. there are even angels girls as well! that is the cupid. i hope it is not too lewd.
Zig Forums would be good if it wasn't for the kike mods. If you promote Christianity or criticize Nazi war crimes your thread gets anchored. The moderation on Zig Forums is dead-set to cultivate an image of a tinfoilhat Nazi who glorifies war crimes - i.e. the greatest turn-off to the general population there is. I guess if you can't beat your opponent, make him absurd. The kikes have clearly done their homework on this.

There's nothing wrong with getting a book that was written 70+ years ago. Even according to European laws it becomes public domain by then, Moreover it is a part of the heritage. And some books are too difficult to be purchased/you cannot purchase them because they're out of print/you cannot purchase them because they are politically incorrect. I mean it is quite different from downloading music and movies en masse.

Almost everyone on 4/pol/ (uncensored) is pro-Christian, whereas almost everyone on 8/pol/ (heavily censored) is anti-Christian. It simply doesn't check out. 8ch/pol/ has changed since the Trump election; there's been a lot of news about the influence of chans, and the moderation has evidentially changed frequently. I suspect some Jewish organization has either through threat or bribery taken control of 8/pol/, and if you consider all the pedo shit that used to be posted on here there's plenty to threaten the site owners with.

Actually I just saw a thread on Zig Forums (on the main 8ch page, by random) asking why they hate Christianity and most of the comments were actually pro Christianity! That was refreshing to see :)

Depends. There's not every single book on Gutenberg. The only place I found some books: archive. I mean ….obviously I read books of authors that are no longer in this world,so they're all out of copyright. Yet their books are sometimes rare to find, even on Gutenberg. I get the notion you're overthinking it. Of course I like to buy books and have them on the shelf. But that's not always possible.
4/pol/ - too many shills, slide threads (blocks your path), there are sometimes good memes to laugh at 8/pol/ - better discussion, lot of shills though. There are anti christian infiltrators(I wonder who could be behind that), larping pagans, actual pagans, even satanists, and then there are christians. Half a year ago 8pol was unbearable because mods deleted anything pro-christian. Now it has got somewhat better, obviously there's lot of shilling since all sorts of people post there and the site is flooded by news threads.
What are you talking about? There is no stance at all because Zig Forums cannot agree upon anything so it obviously cannot change, it cannot be pro-christian. There are people who are pro-christain and who are anti-christian and that's about it. Just because a christian goes there that does not make him "reformer" or someone who sucks up to all those people.

No, I'm not overthinking it. Believe me I have more access to content of any material than probably 99% of this board. I've been in the scene for a long time. I also know how hard it is to quit. There are also loads of resources via the Library, they even let you take out eBooks. I'm actually lucky enough to have access to a Catholic University Library with loads of resources and so on. Heaven and Earth would rather pass away than for a person to commit even one venial sin, and believe me I'm not scrupulous at all. But I have noticed striving for eliminating (note: striving, and when possible) helps me to put my mind in a state where avoiding mortal sin is easier too.
Yeah I've been visiting there a bit and it's not all that bad!

Eh.. if they post NSFW content, it's probably not a place I want to be anyways. /christ/ seems awful to me, and this board isn't that active to begin with. Don't need to go to a dead gnostic board. Browsing r/Christianity, dare I say, seems more tolerable.
