And anyway it's irrelevant what they build it out of. It's seriously doubtful that they can actually establish a Temple and sacrificial system that will actually conform to all the requirements of their law. But they won't care. They'll build it anyway, because they aren't doing it for God, they are doing it for themselves. The Jews don't worship God, they worship themselves, the "chosen people".

Keep in mind that he said this when the Second Temple still existed, so I think it's safe to say that no physical building can be called the Temple of God anymore.
