More Govt Backdoors Found In Intel Chips Used to Capture Webcam and Keyboard Data

Computer experts have claimed that the chips which power most of the computers in the world are hiding mysterious and ‘undocumented’ technology.

Analysts from Positive Technologies alleged that Intel chips and processors contain an enigmatic ‘logic signal analyser’ capable of reading ‘almost all data on a computer’.

The claims are likely to alarm anyone with a functioning brainstem, as the NSA was exposed for having hidden backdoors on computer chips which are used to spy on billions of people.

Maxim Goryachy and Mark Ermolov revealed their findings at the Black Hat Conference, a gathering of hackers and cybersecurity specialists in Singapore.

The analyser was discovered in the Platform Controller Hub (PCH) on Intel motherboards as well as the main processor itself. Together, these parts of the computer serve as its ‘brain’.

It’s called VISA and can potentially allow hackers or spies to access the information stored in the computer memory as well as the information generated by ‘peripherals’ – the name for computer accessories which could include anything from a webcam to a mouse.

The VISA technology was believed to be used to check Intel microchips for flaws, but Positive Technologies suggested it could also be used to ‘capture and analyse’ data.

This ability would be useful to hackers looking to steal information – as well as spies or anyone else interested in stealing sensitive information.

‘We found out that it is possible to access Intel VISA on ordinary motherboards, with no specific equipment needed,’ said Positive Technologies expert Maxim Goryachy.

Intel denied any wrong doing, as usual. Governments around the world refused to respond.

This is another reason to make sure users should minimize what personal info they store on computers, if not refuse to provide any personal info at all.

Most of these threats have simple solutions. Cover-up the webcam with black tape, or simply remove it.

As far as keyboard or mouse data, thats tricky but if you were to have two or more computers that are isolated; and completely separate modems for web activities; and designate specific web activities for each isolated computer it becomes much more difficult for spooks to match all activities to you. That and make sure the computer you use for shitposting/pirating media has absolutely NO personal info associated to it or stored on it… with that using a private VPN service ad routinely hopping from one IP to the next… should overtime be very difficult to track down or trace activities. If you have a different VPN service for each isolated system all the more difficult. That and never leave your modem on 24/7, it gets pretty difficult to tell what the hell someone is up to or doing.

Combine that with basic forward secrecy (no mainstream social media use) next to impossible and really, nothing of solid evidence could be extracted without some kind of mass govt investigation / expenditure put forth (which would be insane and completely wasteful to do just to target an average paranoid tin foil clown such as myself ;)

Now….. does anyone know of such a thing and can it theoretically be created?

A digital keyboard signal randomized generator! Imagine if you could bypass keystroke logging by setting up something to run in the background that would mimic keyboard stoke signals and auto-generate it into the memory (RAM) of the hardware…. then flooding obfuscated signals as you normally type on a computer then to confuse and encrypt whats actually typed onto your computer? I would think something like that would be a prime counter-surveillance tactic.

every single time
but the alternative would be chink crap from AMD which is also full of spyware
fuck this gay planet

Killcen, I've got a serious question:

Which of these three girls would you want to fuck the most?

And they're all legal age, I assure you…

They're all seniors in high school, and they are perfectly legal to fuck.

I'm just curious which one would you want to fuck the most?

And when I say "the most", of course I mean I realize you'd want to fuck all of them, but which one would you spend more time fucking than the other ones?

Attached: 20190328_171645.jpg (1280x1011, 637.78K)

SPOILER ALERT:
I already know you'd want to fuck the one on the right more than the one on the left, and you wouldn't want to fuck the one in the middle at all.

See how easy that was?

Of course, this one is awful. She's gross. boring. nasty. forget it.

right?

plus, she's underage

Attached: PicsArt_03-28-05.28.00.jpg (1280x1011, 109.48K)

Yeah they're using this backdoor to make sure local wealthy people can't fucking work so the 'government' can kick them out and put some hijab or kike in his place.

Nice business you have. Let the locals make an empire, make them mentally Ill, and take over their business so they're homeless

Fucking parasite

I'm sorry I lost you at underage.

The happy one since it'll make the other two more sad

I realize the 'underage' thing got you interested

she's NOT really underage. she's 18

but she's JEWISH

Attached: PicsArt_03-28-05.33.38.jpg (1640x1799, 158.14K)

Now THIS ONE is also Jewish, and she's no beauty queen, but she's actually hot as fuck!!
She would be OMAZING to fuck in the ass, and slap her around. She would be a fantastic fuckhole, but she just looks 'plain' and insecure…

She just hasn't learned how to get all 'dolled up' yet

Because she's underage

Attached: PicsArt_03-28-05.27.26.jpg (1280x1011, 115.9K)

BUT HERE'S THE ONE KILLCEN WOULD FUCK LONGER AND HARDER THAN THE OTHER TWO

of course he would

She's breathtaking !!!

and underage

Attached: PicsArt_03-28-05.29.44.jpg (1214x2398, 260.14K)

She's got the cutest little face

GOD DAMN IT
WRONG PIC

Attached: PicsArt_03-28-05.50.58.jpg (1214x1079, 109.13K)

shit……..

hold on a minute

here ya go

her face

it's little……. and cute

Attached: PicsArt_03-28-05.51.36.jpg (751x917, 74.6K)

We don't blame you at all… That's completely understandable… After all, you're only human

Attached: goldhuffer.jpg (432x360, 117.05K)

I'm confident that you'd find her 'backdoor' and put YOUR 'intel inside'

She just needs a mentor to help her 'prepare' for a very frightening future

Attached: PicsArt_03-28-06.03.25.jpg (279x343, 20.88K)

And before you get all of about her being underage, cool your jets .. I was kidding

She's not underage.

She's Nicky Schmidt, about to go to college…
She's not underage at all.

Attached: PicsArt_03-28-06.08.51.jpg (751x917, 73.12K)

This.
I'm also glad that the government is pretty incompetent, so even the average person who doesn't have any protection outside of just not having a social media presence probably hasn't been molested by the apish hands of the Nanny State. I mean, there's 300 million in the US alone.

or at least she'll be legal age and going to college soon enough, as soon as she finishes high school.

I'm really starting to worry about you

you're a fucking weirdo

Shit. Nope, I was wrong. My bad.
they're all underage. sorry for the confusion.

Speaking of which, what is this threat about anyway?

Learn Proper OPSEC:

You don't seem to realize that every computer manufactured after 1999 has NSA chips installed, and it doesn't matter about Intel or AMD or any other and processor or any of that bullshit

every single computer manufactured after 1999 directly connects with the NSA, as soon as you go online

You know that this news is important when those CIAniggers up there shit up the thread.

when was the last time you went outside?

I've been sitting out here enjoying the perfect weather for the past 3 hours, playing with the cats and feeling the springtime breeze.

go outside

by the way, only the girl in the middle is underage

If they's recordin' muh onboards n muh peripherals, why, it's game over on this here peecee, reckon.

It's keystroke data, you fucking retard. That means every single thing you type. Pretty sure you're fucked.

how to avoid being surprised by this :

already knowing that everything you have done online since 2001 has been monitored by several branches of the government, along with numerous third parties and private corporations..

and everything you've done offline comes under scrutiny by the same people, as soon as you go back online again.

I'm literally omazed at how anybody could possibly be surprised at the fact that technology leaves a footprint

8ch.net/eq2ub4i2/res/11.html#21

Oop

Hide your gf user. The FCC might find her.

Hey where the fuck is the joeker and has he lost his shit yet?

This thread was brought to you by the new hit sitcom Maid For Us

So many feels.

I'm too lazy to look it up but I bet you need physical access to the computer to read the data it is 'capable' of collecting.

What good would that do the CIA niggers?

kikes cut part of their dicks off because they know they are failures as men. halfway to being a tranny. it's pathetic.

t. CCNP and FPGA dev here.
It’s the fucking BIST and debugging engine. Yeah it has read/write access to everything. Cool. You still need to be there in person to do the attack, at which point you don’t burn a million dollar 0day, you either image the HDDs or you install a hardware implant to keylog the person. People love to jack off to masturbatory fantasies about the NSA watching them fuck their cats, but at the end of the day the NSA doesn’t want every goddamn computer made after Twin Towers reporting back to them, because that makes traffic, traffic that can be captured, analyzed, and tracked back to the backdoor, which will then be disabled or mitigated by the nation states these hypothetical backdoors are aimed at. They don’t give a fuck about anyone here and if they do they’ve already compromised your phone (which is a much better 24/7 surveillance tool) and lawful-intercept’d your landline and internet. Honestly if they’re aware you exist and they want your ass, there’s nothing you can do about it. Luckily, 99.99% of the population here doesn’t fucking matter at the end of the day to any government so you’re all free to fuck your pets without the shame of being watched. Unless you get off on that, you fucking freaks.
Preemptive

i leave my webcam open and easily hackible

try 192.032.02

i stick things in my male holes

let me know if u came

Not only did you fuck up the octet separators, you also didn’t give the best IP address - the 25.0.0.0/8 block is technically mapped to the MoD so if you suspect they’re a teafag you just give them one of those and let them freak out.

I like fantasizing about the NSA spying on me. Is that strange? It allows me to be more creative with my already overblown paranoia and gives me new ideas how I can try countering surveillance. In the end you are right though, if you are a target and they want you, they will know everything about you because there are multiple ways to get info about you (not just phone calls but everything else stored by institutions you may have been involved with: school, work, gym classes, charities or whatever you do, all these institutions keep records too best believe it.)

The web cam is the easiest to counter, simply cover it up.

What worries me more is mics and speakers…. these also can be used to eavesdrop.

And by the way, Intel has had 3G embedded within all their newer processor chips so they make it impossible to truly air-gap newer machines. Thats why I tend to stick with older ones. The one I do have, I don't store any personal info on anyway.

NONE of them. Two are ugly and the other is not really my type of gal. Remember I typically get a hard on for more 'mature' women (40s/50s) and they must have that curly hair, I love women with curly hair you can rub, wind and wrap your fingers around.

true news bumparoo

The problem here is where you get your information. For instance METRO is a free newspaper in the UK that is no stranger to sensationalist, reactionary babble in order to sell advertising and further social and political agendas. Don't forget, this is the same paper that openly accuses ALL white people of being over 300 years old and throughout that period, of thinking they are better than every ethnic minority on the face of this planet. This is the same paper that will ignore the facts and replace them with distortions and in some cases, outright lies. Most of its editorial staff are self-declared feminists/SJW/liberals and have little if any experience of life including actual work experience outside of institutions responsible for funding publications such as the one they work or write for.

If you want impartial, objective and factual analysis on this potential security threat then you're best approaching people who actually know what they are talking about rather than people who have decided the outcome before they even begin. Many people in the UK absolute hate METRO and for good reason. It is a very liberal publication when it comes to the truth and this is reflected in its motto: 'News.. But not as you know it'.

Proofs or gtfo. BTW, it would be easy to prove by simply running tcpdump on pre-1999 computer with two networks cards that acts as transparent Ethernet bridge between the modern computer and WAN router.

news.softpedia.com/news/Secret-3G-Radio-in-Every-Intel-vPro-CPU-Could-Steal-Your-Ideas-at-Any-Time-385194.shtml

The analyser was discovered in the Platform Controller Hub (PCH) on Intel motherboards as well as the main processor itself. Together, these parts of the computer serve as its ‘brain’. (Source: METRO).

Wrong. The "brain" of computer is commonly referred to as the CPU - not a collective resource as in the CPU+PCH. All the PCH does is physically connect the CPU to other parts of the computer; much like your spine. As such any perceived intelligence within the PCH is relatively simple in comparison to the CPU.

Furthermore one should never over-state the intelligence of a computer. It is, in reality, a dumb machine that can be programed to do things. It is not a brain in the biological sense, all it does it give perceived intelligence. It is a simulation of a brain, not a true emulation. We don't even fully understand the workings of the brain or consciousness for that matter, let alone state that we are able to implement certain cognitive functions of that brain into a bucket of transistors. At its root that is all a computer currently is: mostly many, many little transistors acting as switches in order to input, process, and output data. That's it regardless of how complex programs (and certain operating systems!) are.

Want to be worried about security? Worry about what people do with these machines. Worry about social engineering. Worry about the deep state. Worry about industry in cahoots with political interests to crush lawful and rightful dissent. Hell, why do you think services like Zig Forums spring up? It's not just to pay the bills. This is happening in China. This is happening in the EU. This is happening in the US, and Canada, Australia and elsewhere - and these "hackers" if you will, are far bigger, and far more capable.

I'd be unironically surprised if those fuckers wouldn't spy everything, for profit of course

You seem pretty smart, is there any tips you would like to provide that we could take to mitigate some of the existing vulnerabilities and security threats? For example, is it best to unplug your modem when your not using the internet? Are there other recommended security measures we can take other than using a VPN and spoofing browser metadata?

not him

Don't use credit cards or store reward cards. Pay cash. Don't order from places like Amazon. Buy secondhand when you can.
Don't use cell phone.
Don't use IoT devices, especially Echo/Google Home, etc.
Don't use Facebook and other social media.
Don't use automated passes for toll roads. Better to avoid toll roads altogether, because they still use cameras. It's illegal to wear masks in many places, and that would draw a lot of attention anyway. Settle for hats and sunglasses. A bushy beard, if you can grow one, can obscure the shape of the lower face.
Install Linux. Use Tor Browser with the security slider set to high. Never use Tor to sign in to a service you've signed into without Tor, and never sign up for a service through Tor with personally identifying information. Better not to sign in to anything at all.
Be careful about metadata. Wipe exif data from photos you post online. Better yet, don't post photos online. Use Anonymouth to analyze your writing to minimize stylistic analysis.
fsf.org/resources/hw/endorsement/respects-your-freedom
github.com/corna/me_cleaner
coreboot.org/
github.com/endwall2/
torproject.org/ wow they turned their site into cancer wtf
Or just spend way less time on brain-eating machine and educate yourself instead.

I already pretty do all that and then some. Minus the flip phone, I do have a flip phone but will never use the 'smart' crap. I even use Bleachbit and manually added the sqlite files to wipe from my /.mozilla/ directory. Also use Noscript Security Suite (also manually configured to block JS), have a browser agent spoofer which spoofs most metadata the browser gives away, HTTPS Everywhere and my connections run through a private encrypted VPN connection.

Is this pretty good OPSEC wise?

Agreed, IoT is cancer. Can't imagine why people like everything internet connected. Total invasion on privacy.

I think if they really had a universal backdoor, then they wouldn't have trouble taking down things like the silk road. They could just do it.

pervert

youtu.be/aRUxfxp9dJ8

They do have a backdoor. Have since the 90's. Dell computers use to ship with them to foreign governments to use. Why do you think the NSA never worried about public crypto? What do you think they never worry about VPN or shut down virtual machines? It is all hacked at the ROOT and has been for a very long time. Same with Windows same with phones.
