Hello I'm decided to put a quote of Matthew 11 28 in my bedroom. But I have lots of plain walls so I'll consider putting more meaninful Zig Forums art. At the entrance, hall etc.

I've always wanted to get this printed large by a printer and put on my wall, a beautiful painting, her eyes and emotion, shick and awe conveying her realising her wretechted sin at the feet of our holy God incarnate

Not to be that guy, but God is not the Lords name… and I'm not gonna risk even typing the real one here.

YHW, God, Jesus, The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit, Elohim, et al are all names of the Lord use them with care, humility, and piety

anything dore is pretty based
hard to find good posters or prints of him tho

Charlemagne right?

YHWH, Orthobro, not YHW. The tetragrammaton is made of four letters.

that image makes me think that stephen hawking's time in purgatory is equal to the minimum physical time for his quantum state to spontaneously turn into a walking person.

yikes!

Wew prot

Not just Germany, most of western Europe in general. He's the Pater Europae after all.

He's every Right-Wing Catholics ideal monarch, myself included and arguably the most pious monarch in European history.

charlamagne did what no one else did: he created the only truly christian empire.

A little more Blake

Byzantium was just that too.

Charlemagne was surely an amazing man, emperor and christian..but the most devout i think is Louis IX. I've read an account in the middle ages of visions of Charlemagne in purgatory, because it was alleged that he had various comcubines.

The iberian empires were also pretty good, despite all of their shortcomings, mainly the use of african slave labor.

I've never herd that account. I've only ever seen him mentioned by Dante as far as after death goes.

And yeah, the multiple wives is the only real sore point, but he's far from the only monarch (christian or otherwise) to have that kind of situation. Especially given the time period. He was still devout in his private life from what I've read though.
