You're free to lie dormant curled up in a single platform if you wish, but only a fool invests in one stock their whole life.
If you require anonymity on obscure platforms your whole life, a great deal of opportunity will pass you up. Anonymity is ideal and should be fought for, but I simply disagree with this method as it leads to less opportunities to fight for your rights.
Also, we are all aware Zig Forums and Zig Forums both have huge Discord servers right? Though, I was personally banned from both due to rampant censorship. Free speech activists I imagine face regular censorship online, which only bolsters their resolve. Ironically Zig Forums users love to talk about fighting for free speech yet are regularly censored by an unchecked mod class on Zig Forums.
It is more than justified to use abusive platforms for righteous goals. In the hands of the righteous, the just sides of all tools are revealed. If there were Zig Forums servers hosted on an Zig Forums application that had a significant userbase, I'd be delighted to share that with you. But since there isn't, I simply use the next best tool. It is more than fine to hate Discord and it is equally fine to criticize every aspect of it brutally without mercy.
But, if you're telling me you believe a mainstream goal can be achieved without using mainstream platforms, you're ridiculous.
Even at the birth of Anonymous, it went mainstream ONLY because it posted a video on YOUTUBE. It might have its origins in 4chan just as the IIUU has history on Zig Forums, but ultimately both of us use mainstream platforms to achieve our goals because we aren't fucking idiots when it comes to gaining popular traction.

All mainstream platforms don't only remove anonymity (Like facebook asking for a picture of you and phone number), they also collect extensive amounts of data on you, are able to be censored, and welcomes normal fags like the plague. And once full of normal shits it becomes a shithole filled with cancer. Take a look at reddit for example. Some other criticisms I have personally have against the group are: 1. Your reddit spacing. 2. Supporting abusive platforms 3. Use of really cancerous emojis 4. Your actions are a good example of what to expect Sure you do :^) No. Its reddit spacing. Also, the Zig Forums board for IIUU has ~4 posts that were made by people other then the admin of it. Nobody who has a brain is going to join a discord just to have their location and everything they say and do on the website be captured and analyzed by glow in the darks.

What makes you think that they won't censor you? You are going against the interests of those platforms. The problem is that you're sending the wrong message to the public by using those platforms. People will continue to think that there is nothing wrong with using facebook and even feel proud that they used it "for greater good". It's not just a simple numbers game, 10 autists from Zig Forums can do more damage than 10000 normalfags from facebook. The reason why we aren't more active about this issue is that it doesn't really affects us that much. I can't think of any realistic scenario that would prevent us from doing what we're doing now. We'll always at least find a workaround, should an issue arise.

It's true that it's sometimes a bit exaggerated, but still just bad. But if americans think, that this will hardly affect them because it's not US law, they're either stupid, naive, or don't use any major platform, because those will implement it worldwide and large media corporations will gladly use this to push their bullshit too.
