4/10 Not that important since being esl forced me to focus on other stuff. Lyrics just need to match the vibe and be somewhat good, rhythm, rhyme, easy to remember etc.

7/10 Related to the lyrics, very important because when you know what the message of a song is, it can change how you listen to it basically and I hated/fell in love with some songs after knowing their real message.

8/10 Very important to me, I care a lot about how good a song sounds in both your ears with loud volume. A good mix only elevates a good song. If it sounds bad to being with, idgaf about a good mix.

7/10 Same, very important as arrangement makes you take a trip while listening and can leave you with a not satisfying experience if it's poorly made.

8/10 Extremely important in that a song needs to be singed with a "honest" voice and delivery has to be powerful. But the vocalist doesn't have to be the best, just hit the notes right and be honest... That's why a lot of kpop songs suck to me cause I can feel their lack of honesty when they sing.

i'd rather think of theory like a guideline when starting or when necessary rather than an integral part of the process, so i put it last. imo it should be used to understand other music and as a guideline when making and something to improve upon rather than the holy script.

This, though I don't know what "aesthetic" is supposed to mean in this context. The theory defines the aesthetic in a massive way, even if the listeners (or even the musicians) don't know it
