What was wrong?

As opposed to?
No, really. Is there any nations that doesn't sound awful while speaking another language?

Wonder what it is that causes this snideyness, brits find foreign accents interesting and cute. Just thirdie things I supoose
anglos are just way worse at phonology and language in general
maybe it's because they only learn one language
maybe it's because english butchers pronunciation of loanwords whereas good languages at least try to preserve it
