What language is this?

it's mumbled ebonics

What the fuck is that thing even saying?

Rock for all intents and purposes are dead

I posted a pic of sum41, because even though started as a pop punk band, at least in the commercial sense, they have been very consistent over all these years in making good quality rock and sometimes even metal music.

Rock will be back in the 2020s because I joined a band and we will save rock. Thank me later

thank you

That had me rolling not gonna lie. The instrumental is half decent half retarded and by the end i was laffin. This is pretty much what i expected.

I don't understand it either, but that's what my brothers listen to and they're in to all the stuff that is popular these days. I agree with the instrumental being alright but even at that point it makes no sense because the producer is the real artist. Like if a rapper has a good instrumental it is always the producer who created it, so he might as well be the actual artist.

>I'm old
If you're still in your 30's, no, you're still a zoomer.

Machine Gun Kelly and Ghostemane

Turning 30 in 6 months, already greying, I feel fucking old.

Emo rap. Lil Peep's hooks sounded like Blink / Sum41 hooks

Machine Gun Kelly and Ghostemane

Yeah thats why these guys never impress me cause like you said its just the producer. And i even liked rap back when soundcloud rap started and other shit like brockhampton or early Kendrick. But this shit these days makes rap seem worse than ever.

when rappers can't hack it these days they put out a pop punk record
which is considerably pathetic considering the bar for rap is set lower than it has ever been, even during the corniest of the early 80s it was never this bad.

same here bro

Is it just nostalgia or was early 00s pop punk pure soul?

Well, it takes me back to being a teen in the 90's and early 2000's, pop punk and nu-metal was the soundtrack for that era.

I know that feel.

Indeed they were, but chuck was their last good album. After Dave left, they sounded thin. Then stevo left the whole sum 41 vibe is done. Although Dave had came back
