The Downward Spiral is an Christian epic
Can someone recommend me a good compilation of Christian Hymns?
Here's a true Christian masterpiece.

Perhaps this isn’t exactly what you’re looking for, but I really enjoy this.
Thanks. I'm looking more for hymns than Gregorian music. Stuff like "Old Rugged Cross", "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing", "Great Is Thy Faithfulness", etc. God bless user.
I've yet to find a good compilation, and was wondering if anyone had a recommendation.I enjoy those songs, but never get to listen to them outside of church.
Ah okay, I see what you mean. I’d be curious about a good compilation like that too then, heh. God bless.
I got you brother

I totally forgot that some user had posted his YouTube playlist of Christian folk songs a while ago. I saved it. Here’s the link for anyone interested. There are a lot of songs, but I haven’t gone through it yet.

This one by Tibet was pretty kino
Christian music, as a genre, sucks. Music made by Christians, however, is awesome. I think the label does more harm than good, ultimately. The only people who listen to christian music are other christians, whereas a christian artist can make a 'secular' album and have a larger impact on bringing people into the church. Anyways, here's Todd Edwards. He chops up samples to make subliminal 'christian' songs.

does this count?
Legitimately decent Christian metal band. Some of their songs are a little too preachy for me, though.
This album was released in 2015 but I don't really know when Luie Luie recorded this album.
I don't think this cover by Bill Callahan was sincere, but it's genuinely beautiful

Tibet’s influenced by Christianity, but he’s still a complete heretic. He’s some weird syncretic Gnostic and perennialist.
A lot of his music isn't theologically wrong though, I mean yeah he flirts with some heretical ideas but I'm pretty sure most of what he believes is pretty orthodox. Actually Christianity itself and the history preceding and proceeding it are infinitely weird and surreal, most of his art is trying to capture those apocalyptic and cosmic religious visions
