I wouldn't say it pisses me off, but she's not adequately respectful of Edda given the situation she's in and it bothers me somewhat. Edda took Luz in when she could have just pushed her through the portal back to Earth. Edda is under no obligation to do anything for Luz out of the novelty, and every step of the way Luz finds a way to be difficult.

Now, at least Luz isn't as bad as Anne in Amphibia. I've only seen the first four episodes of that, but Anne legitimately pisses me off. Unlike Luz, Anne has no way to get home (from what I've seen). Her survival depends on the kindness of HopPop, whom Anne shows even less respect towards than Luz does for Edda.

The reason why Anne is ten times better than Luz in every way is because while Luz is a stagnate character whose whole appeal come from her being a spaz, Anne's appeal comes from watching her grow into a more respectful and considerate person throughout the story.

Mainly how in the first episode they where forcing too much of who viewer Liz is you.

It was more than that detail, Luz has also managed to accidentaly enchant a whole house, not have much problem controling Eda's power when she was in her body and won the respect of the bat queen and Eda's staff. She's far more competent than she was made to be that episode, without having any development that could justify it.
