It's not that the art style is shit but the character models are shit.

ATHF has the opposite problem where the art style is pretty meh but the character models generally make up for it.

That's not even getting into the fact that you are comparing a late night show aimed at older teens and adults to a show meant for toddlers. Or the fact that the british aren't much better than the germans when it comes to humor.

All around i give this bait a 5/10, it would have been rated higher if you went with Venture Bros instead of ATHF because that would have made me legitimately annoyed.

I've heard the series itself is a drastic improvement but the initial bad word of mouth probably killed it.

The problem isn't that the new generation doesn't like it it's just there's a cultural difference between the US and Brittian. I'd try and explain what it is exactly but explaining comedy is a fool's errand if you ask me. It's just there are differences and this causes some stuff to work there while not here and visa versa.

I could sit you down and explain why ATHF is great because of the writing for character interactions and Carl, but I suppose the subtleties in facial movements, pauses between sentences, and shifting verbal tones are a bit different than British humor. The terrible artstyle came about because the creators had (and still don't) a non-existent budget for animation, but they still made it through 11 seasons and a movie.

When the Americans get fed up with chink influence they will either buy off these countries, or those countries will come to the americans to help them out of their short-sighted idiocy of dealing with china.

Much like Cold War politics, it basically depends on if someone has an economic connection to Africa in the US and can get enough politicians to give a shit about their personal interests to make up a reason to intervene. Assuming Africa doesn't do what it usually does to foreign interests, which is expel them through the complete instability the continent has been engulfed in outside of select sectors for forever. SCI lacks that oomph ATHF has. ATHF may look ugly, but it knew how to be funny, which is what propelled it to victory. I'm not even a huge fan of ATHF, either, and I know this for a FACT. Still one of AS' former best things to sit down, even as a filthy casual, like myself...

As an angry American nigga, myself, I think SCI is only OK at best (which is the enemy of being something truly great.), but definitely not a good replacement for Adventure Time, which is what it feels like at best, which IS also the biggest problem here with it.

Everything I've watched of it (SCI) is better than its Nuclear Waste tier excuse of a pilot, but just being OK at best when we filthy Americans demand better, like ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD... It isn't saying much for itself like it needs to, really.
