They divided their shorts across all the differents animators they had available to work from home and this one dude was a story animator (meaning he only works in 2D). That would be a reasonable explanation.

I wish Anna could get kicked off of the Frozen franchise since no one cares about her.

After the garbage that was Frozen 2, I'm not sure I even want a series. They'd probably just use it to double down on all the stupid parts and make sure that they could never be undone.

Right? Even if they made it a prequel series that takes place between Frozen and Frozen II with all the amazing Anna-and-Elsa-together adventures that everyone wanted... That would still mean it all ends in Frozen II.
