OH NO
OH NO
OH NOOOOOOO
OH NO
Hard to believe that it actually gets dumber.
Korra in a nutshell
>Ayyyy...eh
>Terrible, just short of irredeemable
>Pretty good, surprisingly so given the heap that was S2
>Meh, couldn't stick the landing
And no, Avatar Wan was not good
>she didn't get a nude form
they had ONE job
That was actually pretty cool
Terrible opinion, but I'm curious as to why you think so
go back to Zig Forums
NOOOOOO YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO HATE IT REEEEEEEEEE
>Terrible opinion
Why?
Enough with the fucking Korra hate threads. Holy shit, it's been 6 years since this scene and 3 since the show ended. Why the fuck do you keep making these, there's 3 up right now.
bruh that's wrongthink, go to jail now
Unironically no worse than this godzilla rip-off here
don't reply to me unless you share the above factual opinion.
>OH NO OH NO OH NOOOOOOO
My god just go back to/tv/ please, also it was a fine scene, just shut the fuck up.
>bad guy gets cool transformation
>good guy gets boring transformation
why
>Unironically no worse than this godzilla rip-off here
I knew this would come up.
It is 100% worse.
That scene had impact, you felt the pain the moon spirit was is, and you felt good to see it have its righteous vengeance.
Also, it wasn't just a blue Aang.
Korra just went in a tree and got blue. Zero impact or ambiance.
Post your face when Unalaq said
>I will become... a Dark Avatar.
I said don't reply to me unless you share the factual opinion that is not any worse than koizilla
that scene would've been dumb too if it were just big blue Aang
Bitch all you want, Season 3's villains make up for the sins of the whole series.
>good guy looks human
>bad guy looks like a monster
not an unusual trope, just look at every Hulk comic even now at Ewing run, his enemies are always extremely deformed mutants while Hulk is just a green man.
this season ruined everything about the lore and mystique surrounding the avatar state.
>When the biggest bad in the universe is defeated with a Care Bear Stare
it ruined one me favorite scenes, the one with toph learning to earth bend with the moles
They had 3 whole seasons to learn that small-scale personal fights(Amon, Zaheer) work better than some giant monster fight. And yet they still went the giant robot route for the last one. Fuck's sake.
Don't fire your editors anons.
hard to think of things it didn't ruin. it is almost impressive how all around shit season 2 was. the whole thing was a giant mistake.
It wasn't even like a big spirit monster or anything. It was a giant, stupid robot, which coincidentally looked like dogshit.
Why? Why were there goddamned robots in the first place.
Part of my soul died when I first saw mechs in Season 1.
They weren't cool, they sucked.
And that same part died again when there were "Spirit Energy" weapons. Varrick, Zhu Li, and Bolin were my favorite parts of Season 4, but dear God did it not feel like Avatar.
sorry ATLA didn't have your macro fetish user
I wasn't even just a fucking robot, it was a robot with an energy cannon. Do they ever actually explain how that works? The Avatar universe doesn't even have guns, how the fuck did they come up with an energy cannon?
It was spirit energy. Varrick weaponized it.
Honestly, I would have rather they had invented guns than mechs. I get that that probably wouldn't fly, but Christ I hate those mechs.
Sometimes, I'll see a clip or two from the better bits of Korra, be tempted to rewatch it, only to remember all the trash, like turning Aang's kids into the three stooges, or Meelo, or the robots.
There's just so much little stuff thrown in that makes the rest unpalatable.
I'm honestly amazed that Season 3 turned out not terrible, and, big shocker, it was the most structurally similar to Avatar.
>how the fuck did they come up with an energy cannon?
Varrick originally wanted to convert the spirit vines' spirtual energy into electricity, but then Kuvira got her hands on his research and used it to make the beam canon. I forget the specifics, but I think you basically just run a current through the vines, those fuckers were volatile as fuck.
