Say something negative about it
Say something negative about it
It gets posted too much here
it took a cool premise and failed utterly to execute it properly
>Fire Lord hated gay marriage
Man, that guy was the WORST
It had no less than 4 romance subplots and not a single one made a lasting impact on the show.
Her tits were not nearly big enough.
i wont, i dont have all day.
everything
I remember those pictures that compared real models to front/side profiles of Korra and Asami to determine their bust sizes.
Those are some good pictures. I think I lost them in a Zig Forums folder shuffle tho.
korra is an absolute cunt and faces almost zero consequences for that specifically. all of her strife comes from putting all of her self worth into being the avatar, never for how much of an ass she is.
The lead character is unlikable throughout most of the show, and when the writers tried to put her in a sympathetic position in S3 it just made her look like a whiny bitch.
Exactly this, so many cool ideas wasted
The seasons felt more like disconnected stories rather than one larger journey compared to Last Air Bender.
Her ass makes up for it.
I was at the SDCC 2012 panel for season 2 and they used the crowd to record reaction sounds for the pro bending crowd. So technically I'm in the season as an extra. But then season 2 was the worst one. So that sucked.
>Old Korra thread dies
>Immediately starts a new one
Nice to see that she's still living rent free in your heads.
what in god's name were they thinking
Obligatory
You have any idea how much easier it is to build and operate a giant drill compared to a 200-foot-tall humanoid robot?
Her ass is always covered by that stupid fur thing.
Slow-moving iron steampunk drill vs highly advanced giant mech made of pure platinum, a very fair comparison.
>Commited genocide on the entire population of the air nomands
Meh
>Bans gay marriage
That guy is the worst!
Okay, so it's a little more difficult. It was also like 75 years later with more advanced technology and metalbending.
Oh user, she pays her rent in other ways... Top tier r34 material.
They should've planned for something long-term and then chopped off a chunk and worked it into a one-season plot. You know, they should've been optimistic about its chances of growing beyond the miniseries initially announced. They should've had faith in their product. Nickelodeon more than the creators, probably.
It really is a shame. I remember crying at the first Korra trailer because after the live-action movie I had no faith in the future of Avatar.
We don't have the advanced computing technology TODAY required to keep a bipedal robot that size from take a single step without toppling over, but somehow withing a few years of inventing the automobile they built a giant robot capable of doing complex martial arts in real time while operated by a single pilot using 7 trackballs for controls?
The easy answer to this bait is to ask the question "why".
Why make a entire mech when its main point was the spirit cannon
Why does Korra become a big blue energy spirit as a non Avatar, why did it have to be her, why make spiritual energy into chest energy beams.
The answer is because it was supposed to be cool, but it ends up being no more that that. It adds nothing to the series besides spectacle, and obviously that spectacle doesn't hit for some of the user here.
The drill is needed to get through a wall simple and straight to the point, its more superlative than it need to be.
The Godzilla fish thing shows not just the Avatars connection to the spiritual world but what the ocean spirit characterization even if just a little bit. It shows the culture of the norther water tribe the reverence the waterbenders have for the ocean spirit all while being cool. Korra in my opinion unfortunately does not.
Pretty sure she was taking all his transgressions into account with that line.
It's almost like Korra is set in a fantasy world with magic element bending and stuff.
Lava bending.
That should be an avatar only technique that require both firebending and earthbending. At least to create lava, I'd be fine with earthbenders bending preexisting lava, but generating heat is very specifically a firebending technique, the ONLY firebending technique. At least the first guy had to like compress it and spin the earth at super speeds before it melted, but later on Bolin just waves his arms and entire sections of rock just instantly melt.
It's almost like they specified that the giant robot didn't utilize the magical element bending beyond operating the controls.
The writer could have just not had anything else said by those listening to Kya. Tell her story without a stray comment. It's bad enough that we are getting that info dump at all.
>what in god's name were they thinking
They weren't.
Felt very rushed, should have been four books like the first show
>Expecting Korra to sit quietly and listen to anyone
The robot was made of platinum dipshit, you can't even metalbend that
