So back in my prime I used to story time Through the Woods a lot, I maintain it's one of the best horror comics of the 2010's.
With that book Emily Carroll proved her chops as not only a solo comic artist but as a horror creator, which is a harder field to break into than you'd think.
Well she's released a couple of short little horror titles in the form of BENEATH THE DEAD OAK TREE and WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE CASTLE
I know that reality has become at best a very boring horror story during these Corona times, so hopefully some spooky comics will help us forget about the shit out there.
Antibody tests are through, as much as 14-50% of Americans could have had corona. It's not nothing but it's drastically overstated. The real scare is the powers that insane state governors are trying to userp for themselves. We should be so thankful that the current Fed has made a point of not being super power hungry during this thing.

As someone in a risk group, for being a fat fuck, I am at least a LITTLE glad our reaction was too much rather than not enough. The thing is it was always gonna be a situation where it looks like we cared too much or not enough. That being said I want my trip to Japan to finally happen in September so if we could get back to normal I'd be glad about it.
>I am at least a LITTLE glad our reaction was too much rather than not enough. I wholeheartedly agree. I'm am also glad, though they have been criticized for it, and parodied, because "muh haircuts" (do people not know what a joke is?) that Americans are pushing back hard against the idea that the state can indefinitely suspend assembly (a foundational constitutional right) indefinitely. It may be so that lawmakers and officials do it with the best intentions, but having a population eager to defend their liberties is always encouraging even if a bit misguided. Thanks for posting; enjoying the story time.
My only main issue is that some of the folks out there protesting don't fully understand the people at risk's concerns. I am a bleeding heart liberal but I don't want the state to control my movement forever, BUT is a fucking month or two to make sure my asthmatic mother doesn't die of existing THAT bad? Also doctors and nurses getting shit individually is just plain retarded.
It's coming to an end soonish at least, so hopefully we will just wear masks in America after this and stop our "working while sick is bad ass" culture.
