Was Azula the best written character in ATLA?
Was Azula the best written character in ATLA?
Not hard being the turd to reach the top of the toilet.
>edgy the hedgy
Yep. Probably the best, even after she went on her period at the end.Get ya filthy arse out of here cunt. We are trying to have a civilised conversation over here.
>Toph porn
No.

I would argue with that. Zuko was good, but his sister stole the show. Heck the duel between Zuko , Katara and Azula was the best of the final episode because it was not a deux ex.
this
she's up there for despicable villains, but on the whole for the show, i'd put basically everyone on team avatar above her. still good.
zuko by a mile
He was edgy but he was pathetic edgy. Characters in-universe, mostly Azula, made fun of how edgy he was acting.
I'd say the best written character is probably either Azula, Sokka, or Iroh, but dismissing Zuko completely is doing the show a disservice.
wow what a cool and contrarian opinion
No. Definitely the worst, even before he came on his jizz at the beginning. Get ya neat penis in here, dick. You are failing at a barbaric brawl over there.
Poor baby did everything 'right' and still failed
Her and Zuko.
I could go either or.
>Poor baby did everything 'right' and still failed
But she was alone. Tthat was her downfall.
they carried the show
She didn't fail, her support system failed her.
Do you ever get tired of this routine Scrapper? Do you just go through the motions now or are you actually mentally damaged enough to not recognize your own behavioral patterns?
I dunno do you get bored making thinly veiled fetish threads you have to keep bumping when it hits page ten because it shrinks your e-peen if you see it not hit bump limit?
I guess that's a no then.
her support system didnt fail her, zuko just stabbed her in the back.
So your saying she wouldnt of gone crazy if zuko didnt go against the fire nation? Maybe, but why call it "stab her in the back" when didnt think about her at all doing it, and he cant predict the future
She failed because she was alone and left to suffer her own actions.
no
Ah yes, mr miyagi.
I call it that because it technically was a stab in the back, since she was the whole reason he got to come home in the first place.
I think if Zuko hadn't have done that, the Fire Nation would have won the war, and Zuko wouldn't have started the chain reaction that made Azula lose her mind.
do you not think this is what happened?
yes probably that would happen, but you shouldnt call it a stab in the back if he doesnt know that, let alone what would happen to her
Because she used him? Because it was to her benefit to have Zuko help her takedown the avatar? Because if she failed she could blame it on him?
I think the only way you can interpret it that way is if Zuko never betrayed her than neither would her friends, which really got the ball rolling. I do believe she was already well prepared to dump Zuko in the bin; the show explicitly told us she knew Ozai would poop on him if he learned the Avatar was alive and she was likely expecting this outcome.
Wait, how did he not stab her in the back? It doesn't matter that he didn't know she would go crazy. Don't you think, if you walked out on your sister, joined her mortal enemy, and basically announced your intention to overthrow her and put her behind bars, that counts as betrayal?
Azula must be a super genius with premonitions if what you say is true. So you're saying the whole thing was her plan all along, and thats why she asked Zuko to help her in the first place? So how did she know the Avatar's girlfriend would have spirit water that could ressurrect Aang?
>toph porn
>aang is the bottom
It was a betrayal, but in a family of betrayers, isn't it just ironic
Azula never betrayed Zuko.
no, she deserved reformation
His arc is half the reason people still talk about this show
Was she actually well written? She is basically cartoonishly evil with little sympathy shown to anyone. Her character kinda got more interesting when everyone started betraying her.
>gets his son killed
>lets his evil brother take over the country
>pushes his nephew to take control from his father instead of doing it himself
>is a pervert
Why do people like this guy again? He's a traitorous lazy coward.
>Azula never betrayed Zuko.
did you just forget that zuko was completely aware that katara had the water that could ressurrect aang, and decided not to tell azula? the whole thing with azula giving zuko the credit was completely zuko's fault. if he had just told her upfront that katara had that water, it would have saved them both. Azula was completely in the right for not letting Zuko just throw her under the bus for something that was his own fault.
the only times she goes after him are when she is on orders from Ozai to arrest him or after he has already betrayed her so they're no longer allies at that point anyway
You could argue that Azula is the most interesting character, but Zuko has by far the best character arc in the series.
Because literally no one else develops as a character.
but but, read my thesis about how katara had the most legendary heroes journey of all time, on my tumblr blog. it is only 100,000 words.
Zuko thought he played Azula, but Azula knew he was lying and orchestrated his fall
literally every main character gets development you dip
everyone not named Toph at least
i don't know if Zuko was playing her, as much as he was just hoping Aang actually would survive because he was changing into a better person. He is oblivious and has no awareness about what a dick move that was from Azula's perspective, so when she retaliates he thinks he dindu nuffin to deserve it.
