Genuinely good and fun episode...

Genuinely good and fun episode, but I’m sure Zig Forums will have nothing but complaints about incredibly minor and inconsequential shit

i don't really have any minor/inconsequential things to complain about in this episode. it was just boring.

I wonder if the CONSUME PRODUCT AND GET EXCITED FOR NEXT PRODUCT meme will die down now that Rick and Morty acknowledged it

what kind of loser is still watching rick&morty?

It can’t since the show itself falls into that generic product line

CONSUME CONSUME

>about incredibly minor and inconsequential shit
Yeah like how it took this long to get 6 episodes out

I just didn't find it very funny. Loveness isn't funny. Also the meta shit was completely toothless and safe, again making it unfunny. It had nothing to say about the series or the fandom that made any legitimate sense.

>not an actual website
That is actually surprising.

Lorefags were eternally btfo. It was 9/10. If only the train site was real.

I’m shocked by how funny that episode was, not what I was expecting at all

Great idea. But scenes dragged on forever. I just didn't care much about the meta.

The ticket guy bit was really solid

Any links already?

>there's a contact page
Oh boy.

So who's going to buy the site?

>But scenes dragged on forever
The fuck you're talking about, they switched to a new concept every 2 minutes.

I’m not sure what you mean by toothless and safe. What would you change to make the meta shit risky and interesting?

A Pickle perhaps?

It was an interesting episode. The episode itself was a basic stream of gags, which was fine. The fact that they burned through all those hypothetical narratives so that they could never use them was oddly fun. Obviously they don't want to be predictable later, yet at the same time viewers had to be wondering if there were follow-up plans.

post the fucking mega

mega?

It all came together at the end.

And if this really was them saying "fuck you" to people wanting more Evil Morty and Tammy, then bravo. Thats one hell of a way to do it.

Based rick and morty fucking with a unrelated website

The only thing I really got from this episode was that the Citadel is selling a toy train that let's you fantasize about shit. Why would they do that? One can only wonder and theorize but this episode is def not a fave for me.

Guys..

what if the site not working is the ultimate fuck you to consumerfags

The joke is that the entire concept ends up being something as inconsequential as a toy train, they're taking the piss.

I only hated it because I was triggered by them shitting on people wanting more Evil morty/bird person arc. At the same it wasnt funny

The first 2 acts sucked. Just because something is meta or clever doesn't mean its funny and entertaining. Community had the same issue where some of its worse episodes were the ones without jokes and up its own ass.

The third act was funny though. I really liked the jokes about Christianity being non-relatable and boring. Maybe its just me, but Christians seemed to have gotten super annoying as of late.

Grant Morrison tier kino

Have no fear, they have stories for years.

I thought that too, I hope they never give in to the fans' demands because you know they're gonna want this shit unironically.

>Maybe its just me, but Christians seemed to have gotten super annoying as of late.
It's just you.

It seems like Rick and Morty is just going to be at this awkward place of mediocrity with the one absolutely amazing episode all the writers put their heart, mind and soul into.

Which to be fair, at least makes it better then a lot of ongoing adult animation.

If so, I hope Rick and Morty does a wojak episode.

You could have any kind of definitive statement made about the obsession the writing staff and fandom have with meta jokes/narrative (even shitting on the fandom would have been better), could be done with Rick talking about why he breaks the 4th wall. You could have had the episode introduce a canon change as a joke. You could have had an Animal Man moment (though that probably would have been bad, still wouldn't have been this soft shit).

As you talk about religion, isn't it weird american cable tv brodcasting too much food comercials? During Ramadan? And also Rick and Morty are in the comercial?

REJOICE

I enjoyed that, but I hope that's not the last we see of Evil Morty / Phoenix Person / etc.

I get the feeling it is though.

It’s you, habibi

Maybe Phoenix Person but they're not gonna throw Evil Morty under the bus. His time will come, it just won't be any time soon. Have fun waiting at least a decade.

The whole point is to lose the pressure of anticipation

lol fuck you religion fag

>download this torrent with a .exe in it

No thanks hoss.

where is MegaMan?

Lol, are people actually invested in that shit?

So they completely shit on EVERY single part of the fanbase and complainers, right?

To make bots avoid it. You are dumber than a bot

I usually love Tim and Eric but I don't get Beef House at all

It was pretty average. Still think the series peaked during season two.

Can we get a good mega link?

Rick and Morty shouldn't have a serious story.

Rick and Morty is as merch heavy as adventure Time. This is their deniability like pic related.

No one thought we'd ever see Evil Morty again after his first appearance, then bam. Citadel episode.

If they ever do, and thats a big IF, it'll be when we least expect it.

Who cares. Bottom line they should want to make something they can be proud of. They took a piss on the fanbase when they released the season in two parts and then started the second part with this shit episode.

>They took a piss on the fanbase when they released the season in two parts

And you know that was their choice, as opposed to Adult Swim's....how?

So then when? When the show is finally cancelled?

ALL ABOARD THE COOM TRAIN

Attached: morty.png (466x570, 267.56K)

We have 64 more episodes. With the potential for more.

Its automatically guaranteed to happen eventually.

I like how they're now pretending rick and morty isn't serious and shouldn't be serious after they spent all of season 3 on a divorce and daddy issues subplot where rick went on completely serious rants about how the world sucks and he's just an asshole genius and the viewers should accept it.

>coom with your heart, not with your morty

Didn't this episode just make fun of that?

way to completely miss the point of the episode retard

Its pretty obvious they regret that. The S3 finale was one giant 'Undo' button.

Imagine fucking Summer.

>people on Reddit still grasping at straws as too how Evil Morty plot can still continue
Holy shit, they missed the point like a fucking long shot.

They also called the people who wanted simple fun stories literal nazis in the first episode of this season lmfao

Not really in any meaningful way. Just more "our show isn't rigid you should enjoy what we give you :^) "

Way to let them off the hook with this half-assed garbage retard
