Is this the only good and satisfying series finale to come out of modern cartoons?

Clone Wars was great, and it was nice to have one last taste of it. Soon Disney will come up with some new series, and prove to everyone that they learned nothing from any of their experience so far.

Star Wars is absolute shit now.
It's over
Stop whorign it.

Dude your a faggot

i haven't watched it yet, did they pull a Vader moment for the cheap cheers I think Disney understands the power of this and how much nerds get boners over him

>Clone Wars was great, and it was nice to have one last taste of it.

I hope Avengers EMH gets another taste

No it's subdued and he only gets maybe 30 seconds of screentime and no lines.

They really showed their restraint

He spent the episode personally killing hundreds of unsuspecting clones just for the sake of being rid of them. Barely enough leftover time after that to have Ahsoka and Rex's kissing scene.

What makes it unique is that we actually got a bad (in the tragic and sad sense) ending which is something you never see in kids cartoons nowadays.

Only because this is tied to established source material

Its cathartic really. So many shows nowadays try to give off the impression that they're going for a 'bad end' only to predictably do a complete 180 because the writers lack the balls to actually do as they promise

Bojack Horseman comes to mind

Letting Ahsoka live is inexcusable, there is literally no reason why the stormtroopers shouldn't have executed her

Well it is a prequel to a known narrative. Granted that movie 9 feels like a bad end for the franchise.

You were crying about this in the last thread too, you really don't like Ahsoka huh?

Who are you trying to impress kid?

It's pretty infuriating the JJ, Kennedy and Iger all thought "wow this will please the fans!"

Makes me wonder what would've been next for Ahsoka and Rex though if George had held onto Lucasfilm. They could've appeared in the live action show about the underworld I suppose.

I see no one cares about spoiler tags anymore

Can't even look at Return of the Jedi and consider it to be a win anymore. The so called heroes are just delusional.

I dont know who would play Ahsoka, but i think Morrision is way too old to do any star wars now.

Isn't Palpatine Anakin's dad?

Find someone that looks the part, but dub in the voice from the cartoon.

Morrison is only 59. He's too old to play Rex during the Underworld timeframe, but he can still play Rex and any other surviving clones during the OT time.

Based Sheev wins no matter how many enemies try to thwart him

That is some kind of outlandish fan theory.

A theory? Maybe.

Outlandish absolutely not because it was George's original plan

No. A while back some clickbait sites found a panel in one of the Vader comics where Vader has a Force vision that seems to imply that Palpatine was the one who impregnated Shmi (oddly enough this comic was like a year old at the time the story blew up), but Matt Martin from Story Group confirmed it's just meant to show Vader's own fears and anxieties rather than be taken as literal proof that Sheev created him.

The Rebel Aliance ended up being (a FAR FAR worse version of Robert Baratheon) they were good winners of rebellion. But failures at ruling. Which in hindsight, why root for Luke, Han and Leia knowing how badly they screwed up.

Wouldn't that make Reylo incest? Kylo essentially kissed his great aunt

I'll take that as a yes and a no.

I'm surprised TCW never used this owl alien they designed.

This. Disney killed it and fucked it's corpse.

honestly I find the idea of the rebels failing to control the new republic really interesting, I just hate that it was never explored

It's a pretty clear parallel to the EU though where Anakin was created accidentally by Plaguis and Sheev

Depends if you consider Force creations your son

That's a cool direction for them though

He's a Maori though, and they age like shit and have diabetes.

I thought it was a remarkably decent series season (less the sisters + autism 4 episodes) and it concluded well. There were a lot of constraints they had to deal with for certain. It really did feel like Ahsoka was nearly on par with nearly any Council jedi master, less the top tier. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I dunno if I buy her raw power and training to that point to be so strong. Even still, I liked it.

>this was the last bit of audiovisual content from the clone wars era and from the pre-disney era we'll ever see

>Is this the only good and satisfying series finale to come out of modern cartoons?
No.

>it was shit
I'm gonna miss those clone bros

Now, even if they wanted to give Luke a school, it has to be such a crappy place that a single disgruntled student can murder everyone one night, and somehow any other surviving students are so uninteresting that Luke never looks for them or puts them to work for the rebels.

>Audiovisual content
>From the clone wars era
>And pre Disney

Well yeah if you are gonna be that specific about it.

it was lucas kind of shit though, underwhelming but enjoyable

I'm not pretend the Ahsoka Tano Show is the best Star Wars we've ever gotten, alright? It was cool but it had it's problems, whether or not we're ready for that talk remains to be seen.

Is that any worse then making out and eye fucking your sister?

>no episode where space owl gives young Han his clothes

Laaame.

That's fine but you are wrong

hahaha, Disney saved Star wars

How did Filoni resist not using this guy in Clone Wars?

>Star Wars
Luke and Leia

This but unironically

Probably would have looked meh in the 3D.

/thread

Was the snow planet supposed to be Hoth?

didn't save toy sales

No. It's not even a planet, they crashed on a moon.

No, The Last Airbender also had a good ending
