But at this point, I cannot stomach them. I’m too full of pettiness and spite, hatred and rage. I always identify with the villains who are lashing out at the world. It doesn’t matter if they have some grand plan or posture about how they’re in the right, it doesn’t matter. Superheroes get too much in their own ass with the whole continuity and extensive lore that you never have a clue what’s truly happening. Isn't Batman in a pretty bad spot right now? Except for his whore gf his entire family has left him because he treated them like shit and took them for granted, also he's partially responsible for Gotham suffering under the tyranny of Bane for several months and needing rebuilding, and of course the death of Alfred is also at least a bit his fault. Hard to tell, King's Batman was pretty vague and messy. In my opinion he had most of these things coming for him so I don't feel that bad for him, but his life is a mess right now.
