You must be missing a few neurons after writing that, I cannot believe it. Spider-Gwen is a damn meme that got pushed by Marvel overnight, Harley Quinn was tried and tested for years, got her popularity through honest means, only then DC started shilling her.

That sucked though. The fact that it's not in one connected universe is exactly what worries me about the future DC films. At least they were forced to stick within certain parameters to make all the movies in one universe. Now the last bastion of protection from DC's CW/Film/DCUniverse type bullshit is gone.
