Unearned self congratulations and Sudo feminism

Pandering.

>"Oh hey, Mantis met some new people."
I also vaguely remember wondering if they'd be developed this late in the story before recognizing Pepper.

The end of an era

Did Mantis do anything?

A very obvious grab for brownie point that only a very small percentage of fans would actually like.

Lazy boardroom pandering

She took down one of the leviathans by putting it to sleep mid-flight.

>only a very small percentage of fans would actually like.
there is no reason to dislike it. Most liked it, actually. And posing shot is a staple of the cape-comic genre.

try hard representation of equality and a reminder of the shit quality state marvel and society is by pandering to non essential issues, it pulled me right out of the movie when i was being entertained, they could of just had all heroes together but nope.

>Old ass hag in blue armor
>Old ass hag in leather
>Square faced resting bitch face
>Some literally who on a horse
>Uppity looking cunty niggress
>Bald bitch with antennas

Pretty meh

We already saw all the avengers together before this so it actually took me out of the movie because it was clear the only reason they included it was so they could pat themselves on the back and pretend to be feminist

Captain Marvel didn't do shit in Infinity Wars.

american occupants invading some other country before they will destroy everything to shit.

>so it actually took me out of the movie
There is no reason to.
> the only reason they included it
was for a cool posing shot. At some point you have to stop complaining that creators want to do things that will please their audience.

She blew a a ship.
Ans Peter Parker.

like Marvel flexed hard

It killed the pace of the scene we took a break from the action to have another panning shot of them posing it sucks as an edit as well as being hollow in its message which boils down to "these characters have vaginas look how inclusive we are"

But we already had a cool posing shot at the start of the battle this one is unnecessary and interrupts the flow of the movie

>We already saw all the avengers together before
Oh, well, then we should let the comic books guys group shots are forbidden from now on because user already saw it once.

A hollow corporate attempt to establish Carol as the primary heroine of the MCU in the literal last minutes of a saga she was never involved in. What makes it worse is that it’s minus the actual most popular lady, Black Widow, who only died for drama and because Hawkeye already had a Disney + spinoff planned. It was a cold and calculated “girl power” moment that existed purely to prop up Captain Marvel. Infinity War had a far superior girl power moment when all the heroines battled Proxima Midnight. It’s also hilarious because Scarlet Witch is so clearly more interesting and powerful and used more efficiently.

>I live vicariously through a large corporation

>You like things
How dare I.

Wasn't Wasp helping Ant-man on the van, why did she show up there, did she just leave him?

Why is Mantis there, she doesn't know any of these people.

i remember the time there was never any females in comics

Pandering.

A bit of cheesy self-indulgence from Marvel Studios as it takes its victory lap, not only over it's Distinguished Competition, but all of Hollywood entire.

Yeah it was artificial and forced, but given that it was bracketed by Worthy Cap, Avengers...assemble, the mother of all fight scene double-sized spread pages and "I am Iron Man", I can let it slide.

Yeah.
This is right.
The faux women power moment is entirely oligarchy contrived and government funded attempt to destroy women

Islam is right about women.

I took you more for a Buddhist Monk, to be honest. You seem to celibate for an Islamist.

That's nice. But the current plans for the mcu are so horrible and filled with that stuff...that disney who is contracted to push that shit with their terrible media are pulling back.

Wanda doesn't know any of these people

>That's nice. But the current plans for the mcu are so horrible and filled with that stuff
Black Widow finally getting a movie?
You're upset the Eternals isn't an all-male cast?
Doctor Strange 2 seems too woke?
What are you on about exactly? FemThor?
Who's already been confirmed to be a supporting character? Lighten up.

a gratuitous girl power moment in a franchise where all the main characters are dudes.

like... it was 15 seconds. we can let them have this one.

Showed that they had a better plan than Hawkeye/Black Panther/Spider-Man who tried to move the gauntlet on their own. At least the women knew to work together. So sure - obvious celebration of their female characters, but also legit battle strategy.

Anyone willing to stand the line and fight a ravening horde of world conquering aliens is your good ally, just like Independence Day the movie.
Why should they "know" one another?
It's Humans vs Monsters day.

What the fuck does that have to do with what he said?

Disney discovering female superheroes exist

I'm pretty sure the animated movie with the superhero female lead and 1.1 billion made them aware, or the animated superhero movie with the female lead and 1.6 billion....

*non-animated with 1.1 billion
Anyway, Disney has had some of the biggest movies with female protagonists in history.
