>Look like doormamus counterpart
>has shuma' gorath's powers
How strong is he? Why isn't he used more? Is he space satan? what's his deal?
Trigon
Powerful enough to make both of those look like bitches.
About equal to a 6th dimension imp
Nice of that version to curl the ends of his horns so they don't poke anything.

How is Raven keeping hi mat bay?
he's Etrigan's grandfather according to Dan Didio
give me some good etrigan comics to enjoy, friend
He's very powerful, but can only enter the DC universe via a portal.
Raven is that portal, but she won't let him out(unless corrupted, which thankfully hasn't happened recently).
Trigon's problem was that he was used too much as a Diabolos Ex Machina to screw over Raven and the Titans.
Matt Wagner reinterpreted the character after CoIE, so you can check that out for how different he would be for the next 13 years or so. That's the 1987 miniseries.
The biggest difference is that Etrigan and Jason Blood are two different people. Originally, Jason Blood was literally the Demon Etrigan, but transformed into a human shape.
After that, Alan Grant used him in a few issues of Detective Comics, and that was popular enough for him to get an ongoing in 1990. The first writer on it was Alan Grant, and outside of a fantastic four-part guest arc written by Dwayne McDuffie, Grant wrote the first 39 issues.
Garth Ennis took over with #40, and the series was cancelled with #58. Most importantly, Ennis' Hitman series was a spin-off of his Demon run.
I liked Grant's stuff more, but Ennis does have some very good arcs.
The John Byrne was allowed to retcon away all that stuff as "false memories" when he wrote Wonder Woman, and Etrigan's kind of been fucked since.
>stronger than Shuma Gorath
No.
So Raven is Etrigan's aunt?
>About equal to a 6th dimension imp
Would that mean GO Trgon is the strongest outside of the comics?
according to Dan Didio when he was writing that Phantom Stranger New 52 book before handing it off to JMD.
I don't think it was ever mentioned anywhere else.
Specifically, he made it so that Belial was the son of Trigon, and Belial was previously known as Etrigan's dad.
I think the opening arc has the Phantom Stranger damning Raven to hell by letting Trigon and Company get to her because they had one of Judas' silver coins (oh yeah, and the Phantom Stranger is Judas btw).
>oh yeah, and the Phantom Stranger is Judas btw
I'm a fan of this.
>Powerful enough to make both of those look like bitches
>Dormammu and Shuma Gorath
Haha. No.
>About equal to a 6th dimension imp
Hope this isn't going by non-canon Injustice nonsense made to promote a video game where Harley Quinn beats Lobo and Alfred beats Superman.
Demon Knights was rather fun.
Source on your pic?
bump
...
Has he ever... done anything?
Defenders (2005)
based and redpilled
>Dormammu
>Who's in the same Rogue's Gallery as Dr Light
Come on now. He's great in theory, not in practice.
No.
>Hope this isn't going by non-canon Injustice nonsense made to promote a video game where Harley Quinn beats Lobo and Alfred beats Superman.
They had superpills
He barely exists outside of Titans books. You would think a guy that has successfully taken over other universes might be considered a big deal among the rest of the magic community and other demons. Even the guardians might want to make damn sure he does not show up.
>>Look like doormamus counterpart
Why? Because they're both red?
LOL dude he would be working for Dormammu if he ever stepped a foot on Marvel
I thought he wasn't a proper demon from normal hell. But some ruler of another dimension that just looked an awful lot like hell.
What is hell but another dimension?
Earth-3, Earth-4, Earth-S, Earth-Trigon
