Hard to say, I would really like a show were I didn't mostly know what was gonna happen so I'm leaning toward High Republic even is its an everything is moot kinda thing. On the other hand Dave is the only reason the the PT is somewhat watchable and it would be cool if he could do that with the ST.

It's not canon, but it still exists, and you can still enjoy and revisit the stuff you enjoy. Whatever you like is what's canon to you. No, there won't be newer additions to the stuff you liked, but it's not destroyed.

Like, the old republic is thousands of years and spans multiple wars. Yet it's all still "the old republic era". I'd rather see the Mandalorian War Era and Great Hyperspace Era be treated as seperate entities.
Unfortunately it doesn't really seem like that's what they are shooting for though since the High Republic era is supposed to be a thousand years long
