Just checked her Twitter, apparently she was a Calart Bachelor trying to make an entire movie by herself. She's really talented in both backgrounds and animation but realized after 9 months of just painting background that the task was to hard. So she's canceling the project.
boo hoo nigga
>not spending 30 years of your life to make the next thief and cobbler
CASUALS
thats unfortunate. those are some nice backgrounds.
Only a few have the autism
>making a film since 1980
Those are some REALLY nice backgrounds. I hope the artist reaches out to people online and finds a group to join with. That motivation and drive to create would be great to find an outlet for.
Should have taken a leaf out of Bill Plympton's book.
>but realized after 9 months of just painting background that the task was to hard
No fucking shit.
>apparently she was a Calart Bachelor trying to make an entire movie by herself.
Admirable but mistaken. It's like trying to build a house by yourself
>It's like trying to build a house by yourself
youtube.com
>It's like trying to build a house by yourself
It's what pioneers did.
>It's like trying to build a house by yourself
It's not uncommon, one of my uncles did it, and so did a neighbor near my mother's place. Usually it's construction workers doing for themselves what they learned to do for others.
Fuck ,i should have said a building.Like a bigger house than average ,not a cabin in the wood ( i had a typical brick and mortar house with plumbery and cables pictured in my mind) Just pretend i made a better analogy
I know a guy who did that as well.
and the unabomber
Anybody have more examples of animated movies or at least longish shorts that were basically made by a single person?
Do they not teach "History of American Animation" or something like that at Calart? Did she not know the tragedy of The Thief and the Cobbler?
why not hire people?
>animators
>having money
