Longer legs

there is literally how to draw videos online

Legs should be about the same length as hips to head.
Shade.

I tried every one and i still suck. I guess i wasnt born with that talent

use an action figure as a reference

Anatomy books, read more comics, practice, patience.

- go there and read the sticky. Also find the /beg/ thread and ask for critique. Remember, before you ask for critique, grow a thick skin, some people will be rude.

alexhays.com/loomis/ - books by Andrew Loomis on how to draw.
youtube.com/user/ProkoTV - online videos on how to draw
line-of-action.com/ - website for practicing drawing. I recommend doing at least one figure drawing exercise a day - live drawing would be better, but this is free.
terawell.net/terawell/ - free posable doll software, great for reference - or lighbtoxing (i.e. tracing 3d models) in a pinch.

Its not that bad for an amateur op I was drawing worse shit when I started, just don’t expect to learn how to draw good until like 4-5 years of drawing, yes it’s fucking long, but that’s the point if it was easy shit more people would do it. Essentially just keep practicing and really pay attention to your mistakes

Good start.

Overall, practice thinking spatially and drawing basic forms from multiple angles. There's a reason flour sacks are common practice material for animators.

Loosen up your line work and don't be afraid to throw down a rough pass before committing to your final lines.

And even in 5 years your shit might just be meh. hell it could take ten years to start drawing some actual good stuff

...

Bullshit. How quickly they improve depends entirely on how much they practice.

I know a guy who went from drawing the thing on the right - about OP's skill level - to drawing the thing on the left - in two years.

Learn what makes a man a man and a woman a woman and all the details will fall into place.

I remember my math teacher said "legs too long" to me
I feel you bro and ive been there its not as scary as u think.
but yeah what they say here

No, you just gave up. Getting good doesn't just happen, it takes making a lot of bad shit before you can build the skill to make something that starts to look good.

Take responsibility, if you're bad at drawing it's because you didn't put the time in and gave up, not because you're "untalented".

Also, here's a tip when drawing profiles. The eye socket and the bridge of the nose always line-up.

Learning basic anatomy and proportions would be a good start.

It's actually interesting how much coping from anatomy books improves your art. I won't pretend my drawing abilities are good, but the skills I do have I just picked up passively while taking notes in anatomy courses, had to draw a lot of bodies.

Spend every waking moment analyzing the shapes of everything you see.

Jesus Christ, why do you stupid fucks keep doing this. Zig Forums IS NOT THE ONLY ART BOARD
Since your asking for tips, you specifically want /ic/. Go there please.

Draw more! and focus on drawing from life/;reference to get an understanding of shape and form. Then you can figure out what your style is. Also, draw more.

Copying directly from books it's an old basic secret for many artist. No shame in that.

draw people. lots of people.
life drawing is tedious but it helps eventually. There's tons of websites that have a bunch of reference poses to draw from.

Is this a "share your shitty art" thread?
