Yes, this show is poorly written schlock with simple emotional hooks like that which are enough to rope in its room temperature IQ femoid audience. Just the same sort of "relatable" problems like abandoment, mommy/daddy issues, etc. Even Bryke managed to write more nuanced characters. Hell, even Chester or Tootie from FoP or Helga Pataki were more tragic characters than this psychotic kluwne.
