Doesnt count. The show ended in 2014 and took a seven year hiatus before new episodes. Both of those shows ended while there were no JT episodes being produced. That's like saying Inspector Gadget ran for 34 years because of that CGI version in 2017.

Maybe they'll be a better fit here. This seems more like a wacky Jim Miller show than mlp did. He worked on Ed Edd n Eddy and that show was nuts, but the right kind of nuts. The reboot at least deserves a few episodes of chances, it looks like they're trying to produce something worthwhile this time unlike the shit known as seasons 4 to 6 of the original.
